Tentatively In

Yes, it appears that I might actually make this Smile

The Pre-Spousal Unit has been looking for us to have a "weekend alone" thing, and he always likes Vegas... so I've convinced him that we could still have our "weekend alone" AND I can meet some of my online buddies Smile

Only thing that might stop it is the new job, which starts on Monday. If something comes up and I have to work that weekend... but otherwise, I think we're there!

Hmmm. Even Southwest isn't all that cheep (mostly because the super-cheep flights are already sold out). But maybe I'll jump anyway.

Steve, kona et al: Is taxi service pretty decent and not too expensive (so I can skip renting a car)? Where are people staying?

AD, I'm staying here and I believe Spacely is too. It's close enough to the strip that I plan on hoofing it or bumming rides off of Steve and kona. Twisted Evil Price is pretty good considering the location and I balanced that against the cost of rental/cab fare.

Really hope we have a good turnout for this. I'm really looking forward to it.

I can be available to shuttle some folks around to any event we decide to do as a group. I have a minivan that seats 7, if we need it.

It just depends on how much running around you want to do, individually. Cabs are plentiful, but can add up.

If you choose not to rent a car, it's not like you'll be stranded at the hotel.

I have to work during the day but available in the evening for shuttle service from hotel(s) to the designated activity location (Saturn wagon can squeeze 5 comfortably).
