Something New Here's a new post from the sciencesucks admin:
http://www.sciencesucks.com/talk/viewtopic.php?t=29
including a picture:
http://www.sciencesucks.com/assets/files/cielostreamletter.jpg
It says the changes in service were in accordance with Lawful Access legislation. Do any Canadians know what that means? The changes were conducted by a third party, which I suppose means NorBAC or someone affiliated with NorBAC (some government agency).
sciencesucks ISP, according to the letter, is Cielostream, Canada's most reliable satellite internet service provider. Only thing is, Googling "Cielostream" gives you nothing. There is a Toronto address on the bottom of the letter, 9 Mowat Avenue. I looked it up in MapQuest, and MapQuest told me the addresses are 10-42 on Mowat. Anybody know for sure?
Lastly, the undersigned, Ron Hepperle, is also Police Training Coordinator for Alberta Solicitor General. May be a coincidence.

Cielo means sky or heaven in Spanish. Not that it means diddly.
"Lawful Access Legislation" is the lawful interception of communications, and the search and/or seizing of information by law enforcement and national security agencies here in Canada.

Given that site was created back in March 2002 I don't think it's in-game.

I don't think wait.org is Mayko's site. Not only are its forums chock full of posts, but nothing points to watching AI today, which is what the site is supposed to be about. Plus, her in-game bio says she was born in Vietnam and raised in Canada, so it would be wierd for her to put out a Korean-language only site.
The other thing is that there is no site for cielostream, the sciencesucks ISP. It seems to me that if the PMs were going to go to the trouble to make a Korean language site with tons of posts for a passing reference in a minor character's bio, they could throw together something for Cielostream.
However, it is a very strange coincidence that a Korean site happens to have the same name as Tran's site and have something to do with bio-ethics. It's also a very strange coincidence that Ron Hepperle, the guy at the Cielostream, has the same name as a cop (or police trainer), suggesting covert, albeit sloppy, infiltration of Cielostream. Then again it doesn't, because you'd think the guy would use a fake name. Of all the names for the Server Administrator, they pick Hepperle. Is Hepperle a common name in Canada? I mean, if my job were inventing fake names, I would never in my life come up with Hepperle. (That's one of the reasons I'm not a PM) It's wierd, but doesn't seem to amount to anything.
I think we're all just chomping at the bit on this game. It will probably pick up after the 24th, when the first episode(s) air.
Anyone try stegging the letter yet?

not on televizion in Prague yet sadly. but there is mulch talk about a muzical virgin in the dramatic theaters very very soon. Another triumph for Czechs people.
Undefeated since 1969!
Then in reply to a request for pics of the "muzical virgin"
Quote:
Do you not spoke English in Filthadelphia?
I said there is much talk about a musical virgin of the show coming to zeatres, but so fart there is only talk. Talk is cheep and in Czech it is half that much because no euro. When show as musical virgin comes I will post for all sciencesucks pals. Some can come and stay with familiky in suburbs of Prague near modern sewage. Girls ezpeceallly. Haha joke.
Very funny to read, even though I know I'm being put on.

I think he meant musical version of Regenesis as I found this obscure web page while googling about a music group called regenesis so that may be what he was referring to.
