I vote for 1. I hope that phone at the Promenade is better this time.

(We can only hope that Winter will get here before winter actually gets here. I am no longer holding my breath.)

And a new post to mention that I've updated the OC list based on the new axons, and guess what?

We have a new one. It's in Mission Viejo, on Crown Valley Pkwy, just east of the 5. If I remember right, there is a small shopping center with a bicycle store right about where the coordinates are. I'll see if I can't check it out.

Otherwise, all our other axons are listed, including the still not really activated Anaheim ones. *prays that the Stadium phone has been moved*

After trying to get the two Anaheim Axons that we failed to get last week I have only one thing to say...



The good news is that there is annother set of payphones at the Stadium that you don't have to get tickets for...

But they're right by the front gate. So I didn't see them until it was about a minute too late...

FYI, on that corner is a Men's Wearhouse, a bike shop (Cycle Werks?), a vet, and 2 gas stations... That big building on Terraserver is currently the Men's Wearhouse...

I got the two Buena Park axions again.

The 12:17 PDT one was on the left and had a whole lot of 60 and 120 Hz noise in it and I am suprised that it could detect the code words.

The 12:33 PDT one was on the right and had no noise on the line.

I visited the Block, and Shawn met me there as well. I let him answer, but it turned out to be un-live.

I also tried to get to the MV axon. Jsailor was there, and had scouted out the south side of Crown Valley. Only one phone was to be found between the Men's Wearhouse and the freeway, and it didn't ring. There used to be a bank of four phones there that seemed to correspond to the numbers on his list from the payphone directory, but 3 of them were missing. He said he'd check out the Kaliedescope (oh, that has to be spelled wrong) mall across the street, and there was also a gas station and a couple of other shops over there. My fear is that the call was coming in to one of the defunct phones. I forgot to write down the number of the existing phone. I really hope the phone is not intended to be up in the Shops.

The Promenade did it to me again. I got there, the fountain was turned off, I thought, GREAT! Today is my lucky day!. so I went to the phones, all 3 I listened and jangled the carbon granulkes loose, to make sure it would hear. That is, knock the mouthpiece against the side; it will make the mouthpiece more sensitive, then listen, blow into the mouhtpiece, if you can hear it in the erarpiece, very kewl.

5 minutes before, the fountain turns on. Ouch.

The left phone rang once again.

and Melissa's voice was so super soft, it sounded more like cross talk.

I did "Hide and Seek" in a normal voice, thinking that ytelin git wouldnt help.

Still didnt enhottentate though :9 Dont think we can there
