LA as in Los Angeles or LA as in Louisiana?

Woops! Los Angeles! Every time I saw LA during this game, I thought for a moment that it was an address in SoCal. It's been a challenge!

Hmmm...

Aww, this makes me love JJ again (or his work anyways). I think he's listening to us guys, he's as sick of the mystery box thing as we are. Actually I feel a little like he might be lurking nearby, because some of this stuff he's clarifying seems DIRECTLY related to concerns and questions voiced here and on Reddit.

http://www.ew.com/article/2016/02/26/jj-abrams-10-cloverfield-lane-interview

Also, I'm personally very ok with this being only tangentially Cloverfield related. It was neat and innovative but very much a product of it's time. I'm ok with taking risks on something innovative and new. I like the idea of this alternate Bad Robot universe anthology series. I feel reassured.

Edit:
Also good stuff here:

JJ must have quietly run the media gauntlet over the last few weeks

Thanks for teh linkies, gimlet...!

In the EW interview with J.J., he said...

"People want to see what happens afterward. People want to see that the monster survived the attack. People want to see if there are more monsters. All of those things were clear."

Then this line, at the very end of a paragraph below that quote, jumped out at me...

"You can see that the DNA comes from the same place."

Considering the deliberately-oblique way J.J. has with words, it does make one wonder about whether (or not) MGP is truly dead...

Or just 'changed' (in large part thanks to the radiation he was blasted with, via the 'Hammerdown Protocol').

Confused

Haha, well you never know where the wind will take me! I definitely want to visit someday. It'll be a lot easier to road trip once I'm off this island. Very Happy

Lol, sounds very LOSTesque! You are living in Hawaii, aren't you? Surely have you visited LOST filming places already? Smile

There are so many! I've visited a bunch of them (sometimes on purpose, sometimes on accident), but not all. That makes me want to take a little road trip! Some of them are on the military bases, I believe, though!

That was a nice article. I'm really happy for Dan. Being able to achieve your dream after such a long and bumpy ride feels amazing, doesn't it!

Speaking of which... Since you said that you're reading everything, hello Dan! You've got to be lurking around here somewhere. Cool

Oh yes, this was a nice read!
The whole project seems to be very sympathetic and lovely.
And I also greet Dan. What's your nickname in UnFiction? Come in, and drink a coffee with us Smile

It isnít the Cloverfield monster that you know, but this all plays into a sort of larger conceit that we have

Wondering if JJ actually said "conceit" or if that was a typing error. Heh.

I'll treat you to coffee if you are in Honolulu anytime in the next few months, Dan. Wink I think that goes for anyone here in their respective locations.

Actually, if anyone from UnF is here in the next few months, I'll treat you to coffee too! We can geek out about ARGs while sipping coffee overlooking Waikiki beach. Very Happy

The only thing I can suggest looking at 'round here are the star constellations at night...and the pastures (with or without moo-cows) in the daytime.

To quote "Courage, the Cowardly Dog"...

We "...live in the middle of Nowhere...!"

Laughing
