So I asked Kai about some other aspects of the Union and didn't get much out of him. He did tell me that the rest of the Union is very beautiful, and told me to get in contact with a Union rep to find out more. When I asked him how to contact them, though, he said he wasn't sure how I'd go about doing it.

Interesting though, the 13 members of Union.

Natalie,

I'm about to head home, but before I leave I'm happy to assist you.

We have corporate relationships with the other eleven members of the Union, but do not have a relationship with the governing body of Earth, for various reasons. I will say that the main reason has nothing to do with Koatoa Marine, but is a decision by, well, the decision-making group on Earth.

We're always open to opening up that relationship, despite our political values, to provide food for the population of Earth.

Have a great weekend!

so looks like the problem with visiting etc is on our end ( the earths end )
political differences then

Amandel,

Wow, that would be great! Maybe Earth is better than what most people say about it!

I'd love to see pictures. I'm actually heading home now to rest up before the weekend festivities begin. It's supposed to be a great weekend, weather-wise! Looking forward to seeing the pictures when I'm back in the office Monday

Obviously, this is in reply to my saying that since visits weren't permitted I/we could send pictures. Was curious to see if that was permissible. So, do I/we send pics of toxic rivers & garbage dumps or ones of the Grand Canyon & beaut sunsets? Dunno Everyone's input is super imo.

I assumed that the e-mail address was just a rabbit hole for game and thus just an auto response generator (Hence the terse message from me), but here's my response and a fun fact about Oceanus:
Quote:
Hello!

My name is Richard Kai, and I'm happy to personally assist you with your inquiry. On behalf of everyone at Koatoa Marine, we'd like to thank you for getting in touch with us.

I'd also like to apologize for taking two days to get back to you. This past Wednesday was actually Oceanus Day here on Oceanus, which this year, celebrates 61 years since our colonization. Don't worry, it's easy to forget the holidays on other planets! I'm in the office today but most of the company took a five day weekend.

I will forward your email to the sales staff, who will be in the office on Monday.

Have a great weekend on Earth!

Amandel: I say do a bit of both. Show him the good and bad of Earth in a contrasting way, but in no way derogatory or negative. Almost a sympathetic manner towards the planet. I'm interested in seeing what he thinks.

A little of both...but more pretty stuff. Wouldn't want to scare the guy...but also would want him to know there is bad. If you want help with gathering pics, I'll be more than happy to help you!

THX all for the good tips. Am planning to send just a few pics, avoiding anything urban recognizable since Richard believes we are capable of traveling "off-world". Shocked

Hi Distraction (& gal pals)! If Richard is greedy for more will definitely hit you up for pic gathering. Plse feel free D & everyone to send Earth pics as well if you wish.

Good morning! I'm not sure where you are on Earth, but it is morning here in Kariyo!

I see your message was forwarded to me by Richard. He flagged it as very important, and I can see why after reading it. You received empty cans of Razorkan, with a book in your shipment? And you never placed an order with our sales staff?

I'm very sorry for this terrible mistake. I'm going to go talk to the Packaging Director and see if he knows anything. I'll try to get back to you as soon as I can.
