 		Timelines
Remember our first message from Jake?
IT IS HAPPENING. I CANNOT STOP IT . I NEED HELP

Do we think that "it" refers to the construction of NRU and the time machine?
Lacking inspiration, here is what I call:

TIMELINE A

1983- Caretaker helps Turgenev ( and Katrina, his niece) defect from Russia during a conference held in Espoo, Finland. Turgenev had been unsuccessfully attempting to develop time travel with SPECTRUM in Russia. Turgenev assumes the identity of Zeladny and ends up at the University of California at Riverside.

[199?] - NRU is built; John Baxter works on Acheron and NRU software; Meg and Jake get married; Jake becomes Zeladny's graduate student.

August 1, 2001 - Dr. Z.accepts offer from HCRD for a job at NRU and takes Jake with him. ( this date supports our idea that the timeframe had been altered somehow as the department of Homeland Security was founded after September 11, 2001.)

September 12, 2001 - Jake says I still can’t believe it. Everyone wandered around yesterday in a daze.

July 17,2002- Becker and Kat are a couple

July 30, 2002 - Jake's protocal for human contact accepted

August 10, 2002 Jake and Dr. Z stablize a wormhole suitable for time travel

August 12, 2002 HCRD officials turn up for the first time at NRU timetravel project

October 9, 2002 Test of Bobo in time travel succeeds, Kat nervous and upset

October 10, 2002 - Jake drafts letter about concerns with the power logs

November 25, 2002 - Becker threatens Jake about his conspiracy theory

December 8, 2002 - Jake chats with Dr.Z about power usage problem

December 12, 2002 - Jake says "something's wrong" and disappears

January 3, 2003 - Agent hops to UN meeting successfully

July 4-5, 2003 - Jake sees another hopper; Dr. Z is skeptical

September 9, 2003 - first message to us from Caretaker saying "time is of the essence."

October 6 -8, 2003 - Jake returns after saying, enigmatically ,"it's time" and is arrested at press conference at NRU. Dr. Z. see logs and is convinced.

[ ] - Reggie is in hospital; calls one of his Doctor's "God"

December 7, 2003 - Meg announces she is pregnant.

[December 18, 2003?] - Caretaker rescues John from hospital

December 19, 2003 -Jake, John and Caretaker chat; John is going to try to get Jake access to NRU to get the logs.

December 29, 2003 - Jake hops to avoid Becker

TIMELINE B

[199?] - Sometime Jake marries Meg and ends up living in Catalina, Arizona; John Baxter/ Reggie is a scriptmonkey. Jake and John are roommates in college.

December 12, 2002 - Jake is in an accident which leaves him comatose
October 6-8, 2003- Jake comes home after experimental surgery
December 7, 2003 - Meg announces she is pregnant
December 19, 2003 - Jake is angry and upset


December 29, 2003 - Jake wakes up bruised in a "sidewise" time. No NRU; Catalina is a small town;Jake is a PC tech instead of quantum physicist.

December 30, 2003-Jake contacts Caretaker/ Harker by email

January 4, 2004 -Harker talks to us and says he will investigate

January 5, 2004 - Construction of what could be NRU

January 6,2004 - Meghan takes Jake to the psychiatrist that drive the same car as Reggie's doctor did in timeline A.

January 7, 2004 - Meg leaves Jake to stay with the her father.

January 8-9,2004 - Caretaker tells us to call him Frank. He believes our story about time travel. He investigates the construction alone and then with Jake. This confirms that it is NRU. Jake tells him where all the things would be placed. Caretaker worries about the haste of building NRU and the implications of time travel as a weapon and how changing things in the past would affect the present. Caretaker will find John.
