I don't think anyone has said this before so here I go. You know how Alex's birthday is on April 4th? And roughly two years ago TO appeared and took Amy? Well, I know nothing happened last year (probably), but I wonder if something will happen this year?

I also think there is a lot implied by the name "The Operator". Like, maybe it wasn't exactly Alex's choice to become a film student. It's been made pretty clear he didn't particularly have a natural affinity for it.
I laughed at first, but holy shit what if this is correct.

Are you saying the Slenderator doesn't hate bad filmmakers, but is actually the cause of bad filmmakers?
...does this mean he's responsible for Uwe Boll?
On a more SRS note: That would be creepy. Alex is forced to make a movie for...whatever reason the Operator wants him to make a movie, which, whatever it is, is probably not a pleasant reason at all.

And maybe Jay will finish it and activate something Of course, he'sjust saying he wants to finish it to Tim so he can get his hands on the tapes. Still, worth a shot.

Making the movie activates...THE ARK. *dun dun dun etc.* Which is done on December 21, 2012....Okay, I'll try to stop with crazy theories now.

Tim-

He is the most active party against The Operator
He knows things , this could go either way.
How do we know for sure that he "knows things"? I don't think that it's a complete impossiblity for Tim's acting like he remembers nothing about being Masky an honest thing. He seemed legit to me.

Reposting from the Decoy thread since this is technically series-wide discussion:

Am I really the only one who thinks the Ark isn't literal and isn't a thing?
The ONLY references to an "ark" we've seen in the series are in totheark's name, Entry ######, and Decay. ALL creations of totheark, known for being cryptic to the point of absurdity.
Why is it that everybody takes the Ark literally, but nobody is saying things like "I THINK JAY AND BRIAN ARE THE TWINS" or "I BET THAT'S THE DOOR THAT WAS UNOPENED"?
The Ark is almost certainly just a cryptic, perhaps symbolic reference. My current thought is that it's just a metaphor for the end to TTA's conflict with Alex - a rebirth in a sense, just as Noah's Ark was a sort of rebirth for the world.

Is anyone else hoping we find the "Exit" footage in Tim's tapes? Wouldn't that be pretty definitive proof that Tim is at least a member of Totheark?

I am seriously confused as to how, especially in the wake of Decay, people still think totheark is a collective.
It's...fairly obvious TTA is one person.

If Totheark is anybody, to me it seems like it's Masky or Hoody...or maybe both, if people want to believe that. I don't know why, but a lot of people seem to assume that Masky and Hoody are the bestest friends in the whole wide world. But people also say that Masky has an immense obsessedion with cheesecake, so...

I'd agree that we only have one filmmaker, if that's what you mean. Tim apparently has no movie making experience, so I'd find it hard to believe he's made any TTA videos.

If you want an explanation as to who might be editing the Totheark films (if it's not Tim after all), then I believe Seth is the most optimal canidate.

Since there's talk about the Ark, TTA also asks "whereis theark" at the end of Exit. Just wanted to bring that up since people sometimes omit this reference to it when looking at all of the other Ark references.

Tim did say he wasn't "the movie guy", so this actually makes sense. Seth actually was editing the film along with Alex right?

I'm sure there was a "who is totheark" thread somewhere. Is it worth hunting it out and threadmancing it..?
