[OT] Geometric Answers The Reboot Hey folks,
Since John started the other thread and isn't around much, I decided to start a new thread to keep everyone up to date as this project and 2011 come to an end. First and foremost, I want to thank all of you as this 6 week project has turned into a 12+ month project. I've learned a great deal and now know how to run a project of this magnitude appropriately.
Here is the list. If your name isn't on here or any information is incorrect, please notify me ASAP by posting here or emailing me. If you are a buyer and for some reason haven't been getting my update emails, please let me know as well.

I am so sorry guys Hey guys, I am so sorry I have not been around. Things have not been going very well for me. I am flat broke, I have had some severe trouble finding a job while having the student loan folk hounding me for some unreasonable funds to pay them back and nothing is going right.
Steve has been doing an incredible job taking care of this. The company that we payed to do this has been treating both of us with dis-respect in my opinion. We payed them on time and fairly, but they have not done the same for us. Although the product is top notch.
I will start coming around more often as I know a new film is coming out and hopefully everything starts up again. I have not really been into any other films lately.
So thanks again for being patient with us and if anyone knows of any graphic design jobs, computer jobs, or teaching jobs in the Oregon area, Denver, or Chicago, I am still looking and any help is appreciated.
In the meantime these should all be done soon and hopefully once I get a job I can be more active in the prop making scene.

hey man if you are unemployed or underemployed you can get forbearance or deferment, that will retroactively hold even payments you have already missed, I do it all the time as a freelance artist there are plenty of unemployed periods.

I honestly do not remember. I know I came in late in the game and kind of took whatever was left. For some reason 37 pops into my head, but I see retrogmr in that slot. Not too worried about the numbers, though, honestly. Whatever works.

You might be 39 I cannot remember. Both Steve and I's computers crashed in the past year and we both lost a lot of information. I still have some of his emails so I will see what I can dig up.

$2,000?! Holy crap, dude. Are you buying this or building it? If you're buying it, don't. Building your computer is a fraction of the price. If you're building it, and it will cost that much- are you building the next Deep Blue? You can build a very nice, cutting-edge rig for ~$1,000. I would be happy to help you with this if you like. That's not even considering buying cheaper, though still excellent parts and overclocking.

actually the $2000 was just to recover the data on my WD external HDD after it was knocked off my dresser while turned on.

Seriously, I'm patient and everything, but is there any particular person or thing standing in the way now? There's no icon here for :killdozer: but fooking hell, if you need help mowing something down say so!

No.
I have a batch of inlays that I picked that i needed to do the trimming, sanding, and clean up on, but unfortunately I ended up feeling that they weren't up to the quality they should be as some had rather large air bubbles in them.
I also was notified yesterday that more product is ready for pick up, so i'll pick that up today and see if i can get them to redo the bad inlays.
On the plus side, I've been doing new box shopping and testing and found a something that I think is going to work well. So i'll be picking up boxes today. I fully expect that half of those that have purchased bits will have them in your hands by this time next week.
