I forgot about the Taste. I think that's your most likely location. The last place that the iceflies were released was in a concert, so it would make sense.

So one day after I finish my class, the drop off is right next to my downtown campus. That's hilarious.

No, I'm a half hour away by train, I never expected to actually join a team today. If I were downtown, I would be all over it.

No, packages appear to be keys, with info to a 2ndary location, which resides a box (locked, which your key opens) and inside is a nifty plug-in icefly in glass thing.
