Did the Ichor Falls crew ever expand on Candle Cove, by the by? I know that was (or is?) a collaborative project, and it seems like this story in particular ended up being the most popular thing to come out of it. But only ever in the form of that "message board conversation" story.

Or you could write it as a period piece from the seventies, presented as old notes found in an attic by the blogger. That would be neat actually, since you could present the notes in the blog as scanned images of fake-aged papers. Stuff dug up from the past is always scarier. Especially if the phantoms that plagued the teacher begin plaguing the blogger, shattering his sense of safety.

I've thought about doing a video series about candle cove. Mostly some cool ways to pull off having a little kid respond realistically to a children's show on a TV that's only showing static to camera. Plus I wanted to get back into clay modeling and use that as a starting point for making Candle Cove "toys" that the main character could find during his research. But I've got too many side projects going on to try something like that, and none of them involve being behind the camera. I'm lazy enough without needing reasons to avoid something, so there's like zero chance that'd ever get off the ground. It's fun to think about though.

Anyway, I'll stop derailing this before 5zer02 becomes the go-to place for Candle Cove discussion (after all, everyone knows that's the EMH thread :p )
