Or Satan.
I'm not even going to ask. I was playing off of it being a comic about The Flash.
But then if you look at the comic synopsis http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flashpoint_ (comics) the comic has a lot to do with Batman, or rather an alternate reality Batman.
I'm having a strong sense of "I hope I'm not seeing this just because I want to."

I'm glad you didn't keep going with the anagrams.

I don't quite see you in a red suit.

I'm in as well. I used an anime version of myself as my pic (which I will be uploading here in two shakes). Hopefully they don't get too fussed by that.
Edit: Uh, the one I'm using now is the one I uploaded, though I'm not so hugeantic in the actual picture.
Did anyone think to screencap their "custom" design from the answers? I was a little too weirded out to think of it at the time, and it probably means nothing, but I am curious if the answers mean anything.

42E? Looks very likely that this is 42E!

This nearly matches

Also one more thing about the ad: There is a little bee above the morse code. Perhaps another sign its 42e? (ilovebeeslol) EDIT: http://i56.tinypic.com/9u98wy.jpg - shoddy picture (not even a scan) just so you can see what I am talking about as far as a bee goes. Best I can do for ya at the moment. Also pay no attention to the joker faded into the background. That is just the cover of Gotham City Sirens leaking through from the light. Also, maybe (maybe not) of note, the 5Gum box in the ad has a label on it that says "limited edition design."
Also, this ad appears to be in a good few of the zero day DC comics today (I did a little comic shopping today). Detective comic has the ad, as do a couple others. Of course, this doesn't mean that the ad isn't anywhere else. I just haven't seen it anywhere else. I checked a couple Marvel that had no such ad, and I'm not sure but I may have briefly looked through one IDW comic.
While this could definitely be strictly gum related, it seems so WEIRD that a 42e project would pop up NOW that is just about gum. I'm not denying the possibility in the least. But in DC comics ads a week after TDKR's viral starts.
I donno, maybe some of you more experienced ARGers will be able to tell me I'm crazy, but its aweful coincidental.

I can barely make out the copyright info in that pic, but it looks like it says Wrigley Jr. company. As much as I want this to be a really engaging viral involving Batman (or some other equally cool property) I'm afraid it will only be for chewing gum. Delicious chewing gum I'm sure...but chewing gum just the same.
My question is why do we need an ID badge for gum?

It could be that Wrigley is using some product placement in the movie? I dunno. Might be connected.

Well, any time I can get an ID that says I'm a "Test Subject", I'll go for it.
On another note, if the TDKR and this are connecting, Arkham Inmate ID's anyone?

You are correct about the copyright info, but it's not like 42e has copyright info there either.
And you are quite astute. Why do we need an ID badge for chewing gum?
Not dismissing the obvious, but I am not ready to dismiss such strong coincidence based on there not being a blatant tip off to DC or WB in the copyright info either.

just a thought, but they may be doing the id for some kind of launch event. Maybe a party or something like that.
Or more likely, on launch day of the gum or item, show your id badge to a person at certian stores and get a free pack.
I hope its deeper than that.
I was disappointed with the Encom badges given as part of the flynn lives. They werent used for anything, other than getting an employee login.

They were used for something at SDCC, too, weren't they? Or some other con, anyway. Maybe these will get some use during then, like to get into a party, and then maybe The Dark Knight Rises viral will start after that (it's weird it was seemingly only in DC -- has anyone checked any Marvel comics for the ad?)
I want a DKR viral so badly so I'll just keep believing this even if it's wrong, lol. Still kicking myself for missing TDK.
