On imdb it is written that Tom Hardy will play Bane. The picture looks a bit like the villain (although he uses a full mask), but still not sure.

Don't forget. Things can be changed/modified before it is fully revealed. Most people were very sceptical when they first announced Heath Ledger as the Joker yet he now has an Oscar (post humously). I think this image is legit!

Not only that, but he was dead when he won it. I think that's the first time something like that happened.

Not quite. Check here for some info on Post Humous awards. However still quite a feat to accomplish it.
