[Trailhead?] Council on American Heritage found on Linkedin.com/jobs Hey everyone. I'm not sure where to post this. But I was cruising for work on LinkedIn and came across this http://www.linkedin.com/jobs?viewJob=&jobId=1447567&srchIndex=0&trk=njsrch_hits&goback=.fjs_council+on+american+heritage_
*1_*1_I_us_*1_*1_1_R_true_*2_*2_*2_*2_*2_*2_*2_*2 job posting.
So the website said the Council on American Heritage was founded in 2044. And it says copyright 2049. I didn't know if it was a straight up satire, because the who is info gets you a name and address that googles to pro immigrant rights group. But the picture on the site is the guy from LOST.
I put my email in just in case...see if I can get a job as an agent defending the American way of life.
Just wondering if anyone else saw the LinkedIn post.

There is also www.dividedwewillfall.com, smrttid.com, zooglio.com, and serennco.com. Pretty slick!
Something tells me this has nothing to do with LOST. In fact, I suspect I may be secretly learning about a human rights group's apocalyptic vision of the future.

Ok, the vid is pretty cool.
25 days huh? I put my email in just to see what it is.
And I sent an email to the owner of the site from the whois marcSPLAT breakthrough.tv telling him to tighten up his whois info. Oops
If its a game...cool. But I'm not sure I want to mix my ARGs with preaching from a human rights group - no offense intended to anyone who likes to mix politics and gaming. My views don't run too far afield from these guys, but...I just want some good ol fashioned fun.
It'll be interesting to see how many people (using their real names) on LinkedIn apply. I always took that as a "serious" networking site.
I'll let you know if I get anything via email. If it develops into to a full game I'm down. Dystopian future? Oh hells yes!

It certainly looks very interesting. Not entirely sure I'm willing to sign up yet, may wait and see how it develops.
Its interesting that the photo accompanying "Message from our Leader" appears to be Victor Garber who, in addition to a long TV & film career, was involved in ReGenesis.

Ken Asaba The Nubian Plague Carrier Apparently has an active site on Crowdrise.
In case they check their referring links...go to www.crowdrise.com and add blackslash (/) KenAsaba
Maybe he got infected with plague on purpose by the serennco.com company. I just sent them an email offering myself up as a test subject.
Yeah...big name actors in this thing. Huge production values. I'm really curious about the who and the why of the puppet master now.

Let's make those all clickable links. Here's my current list:
http://america2049.com/
http://dividedwewillfall.com/
http://smrttid.com/
http://zooglio.com/
http://serennco.com/
http://councilonamericanheritage.com/
(adding more as they appear)

Play with the search engine on Zooglio, it's fun -- I really want to install this chat feature:

And some other places I found but probably should not have access to yet:

eta: M looks like Margaret Cho perhaps?

just a little rant...it really bugs me how on several of the websites it has a (read more) link...so then you hit read more and the article is precisely one sentence longer than the teaser text on the front page....FOR EVERY SINGLE ITEM???!!!
And really...do we need to sign up for notifications from every website...it's cool if they dooooo something for each of those websites...but it's annoying if its not used like that

In addition to Victor Garber and Harold Perrineau, I've also spotted Cherry Jones in that video, and I thought one of the victims looked like the Lacy character from Caprica (played by Magda Apanowicz).
