Nuclear Tests/Detonations during the 1960s
May be backstory to the movie

So, through revalistic.com, the connection was made to nucelar weaponry. I thought a good idea was to look into that 'cause it could very well explain some backstory to the movie.
As a starter here is what Wiki has to say for that time-range:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_nuclear_tests#1961.E2.80.931963
Personnaly, I think the Sedan-Project could hold something interesting. Sounds kind of connected to TROGL and had the most "effective" Fallout.

Edit: didn't read it myself within the minutes but probably holds some interesting info:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Underground_nuclear_testing
Although, revalistic's youtubes are off-atmospheric, maybe there is some connection here. After all, we deal with TROGL.

Yes, the nuclear testing is pretty interesting new point of view in this story. I hope, it will go rather in such direction.

And wait, is Sedan in some ways connected to Groom lake? We have had this before.

I was looking over the First Newspaper ( with the RP Mail a way) and just want to remark and Bring it back up that the major story on those sheets were about nuclear Testing - The JFK stuff - Just a refresher not Trouting

Right, I mentioned the same thing elsewhere, as the newspaper article was quoting/discussing Kennedy's speech on the Limited Nuclear Test Ban Treaty delivered July 26, 1963.

As you say, Kraten, the whole ARG started with this topic — and we seem to get more clues that there may be some 'secret reason' why the test ban treaty was sought, especially if (in classic sci-fi form) something resulted from those tests.
