[TRAILHEAD?] Odd Jobs

I signed up for the Cloudmakers yahoo site a few years ago, way after the ARG was done, just in case something popped up. Today I got an automatic e-mail from the group with this;

Quote:
I got an email with the following content.

Are you a Cloudmaker? Do you love bees? In today's competative job market its hard to find the right job. What if the right job found you? At Odd Jobs we match jobs to you. Stop by, take the test, you might be surprised which job might be right for YOU!

Have a pilots license? Want to help people? Then this job might be right for YOU. Positions for rainmakers. You won't find them on those other websites. Want to take your career to new, and sometimes unusal heights? Take our patented job placement test. You might be surprised what job is best for you.

Please stop by!
www.odd-jobs.biz

It also had this disclaimer at the bottom 2010-2011 Big House Comics. Note this email and website is for entertainment purposes only.

The site leads to a company's homepage, with pretty obvious references to I Love Bees and the A.I. arg. The only working link on the page is the test, I filled it out and nothing happened so I'm guessing it's some sort of sign up?

Anyone have any information on this?

EDIT:
The e-mail was from Kevin S and at the bottom of the site, Kevin Stone is listed in the copyright as well.

EDIT 2:
In the source: The start of your journey. The place where the job finds you! Odd Jobs. biz

The Keywords: dd Jobs, big house comics, comic books, ARG, alternate reality game, Old Soldiers

And the copyright for Big House.

Googling Big House leads here: http://bighousecomics.blogspot.com/ where the second or first post talks about the first issue of Old Soldiers.

Game on?

Although there isn't much to do on the Odd Jobs site itself, I've been flitting around the Big House Comics site. There are several hints at 'something big', which is presumably what we've found now. Maybe there is something of interest in the comic itself? I don't have the time to look through it now, but it might be worthwhile. Maybe.

I agree the test is probably a sign up. I filled it in myself, so it's wait and see on that account.

Just applied for the test.
This will be my first true ARG! You know. Probably.

In the trailer, at about 01:20 there is a insert of the Odd Jobs logo on white that is totally out of place, put there are a clue I think. It has slogan "Let the Job Find You".

Yeah, that along with the logo in the video pretty much confirms that the two are/will be linked. I just wish there was more to do on the Odd Jobs site at the moment.

Sure sounds like it should be, but I'm drawing a blank right now.

Just finished reading the blog, from what I've gathered, Odd-Jobs is the only truly IG site, although he claims there are subsites. I sent my test in, all I can do right now is wait. He posted on his Twitter that he's "releasing something he put his heart and soul into" on 1/31/11, so... game on?

Got an envelope in the mail for this...should have pictures / scans / transcription later tonight.

Among other things, there's a letter written using a typewriter sans ink that implies others will be receiving something if they haven't already.

Can you scan that/ upload it in some way?

P.S. I feel odd being the only person to post in this thread more than once.

Yes, I can. Just finished scanning: since the one document was all white, I had to transcribe it by squinting at it in the right light (an extremely challenging task: I realize I could have done a rubbing, but wanted to leave it as is if possible) -- transcription is in quotes below. I'll get the images on my website (and linked here) shortly.

Quote:
I know this is unorthodox, but I have nowhere else to turn.
I have stumbled upon a terrible conspiracy. I found that
my employer had documents hidden in his archives. I have
taken some of these documents in the hope that I can
avert tragedy. I don't know who to trust, and I fear the
US Army may be involved. I have contacted the FBI, but
I am beginning to wonder if that was a mistake.

There is information that I have that is very valuable, no
VERY dangerous. So much so, that I have sent you this pack
age, as well as other trusted citizens. YOU have one.
I have sent you this package, in hope that you will take
this information public. ONLY by taking this public, can
we be sure the right people see this.

I am worried for my safety, and yours as well. There is mo
re to this story. Everything you need to start your investi
gation is in your package. My group has hidden clues in
certain websites, but for security reasons, I cannot dis
close here. I trust that you and your compatriots will be
able to find them from the clues that I have left you.

Find me online, Follow the trail.

EDIT: scans have been added. I'll likely have an article summarizing the information later tonight that has more browser-friendly files, but thought you might benefit from the best resolution I could manage.
