Question on starting an ARG?

 		Question on starting an ARG?
I have a general mapped out idea of what I want to do and all that jazz but here are my questions:

1) I am trying to include a new antagonist thought up and inspired by several things and I figured it would be scary if you never see it but then how would anyone classify my ARG as anything? Can I display him in a new way?

2) I am on a literal 0 pounds budget here so any free software or things for virtualdub?

3) Can I get exposure on here and see if people want to make a new forum section for this ARG (as I stated above it isn't gunna be slendy, or alot of him Razz) but never visit the new forum section if it is made?

I have problems understanding what you mean, but will try to help.
As for a seperate forum: if players stumble upon your trailhead then it's only a matter of time before a post is made in the Trailheads section of Unforums. If the game gets bigger it might get its own forum.
With the game running you could always reach out to an admin to see what's possible. I'm not an admin, so not sure if it works that way.

There are tons of freeware solutions, but I need to know what type of software you are looking for. To my understanding, Virtual Dub is already a free tool.

Check the On-line tools section, it has loads of various software and freeware stuff to use.

I would also suggest that you not try to do this alone, but get a group together to help you. Why? Because they bring additional talents and any stuff they may already have in terms of programs and experience. Plus having a second or third set of eyes to help you refine and strengthen your projext is always good.

You as a PM can not post to your own game forum in character. Period. That is a Terms of Service condition. You cannot post to your own game forum as The PM until your game is concluded. Period.

However if you are asking for help launching the game then contact any moderator or administrator and they will help get news of your game out to the players for you.

In general new games remain a thread in the News and Rumors section until it has enough traffic (per Mod or Administrator) that it is busy enough to get it's own section of the forum.
