[NEW] murpha.com

http://www.murpha.com

This was previously found by reverse DNS.. I believe it's live now because there's something pointing to it in the new updates, although I didn't find it yet.

Odd - the USH logo doesn't reference Murpha.com.

Rather, it refrences Murphy.com, which does not exist...

OK, so they designed the Aquapolis and MetaCortech buildings. But how do we know about Murpha other than by IP tracking? Is there a mention at Aquapolis or MC?

Sent a resume. I've been out of a job for awhile now, so here's to hoping I may be gainfully employed by a fictional company soon!

Oh, and the thing about the "murphy.com" typo, the thing is that murphy.com/ would have to be a directory on the USH server. Seems that a directory, a filename reference, etc. would all have to be wrong. But I don't see why it'd be anything other than a typo, either.

Just so I can follow the flow of all these discoveries (while I'm at work... damn!), have we found where the reference to this site was?

Are the cities where Murpha builds, the cities mentioned in the note from the ethan blog?

from hyperhistory:

Quote:
Appius Claudius Caecus was a popular Roman politician. He was a patrician who became the first politician to attempt to give landless workers a voice in the Roman senate. He also made legal information available to the lower classes by publishing a code for legal practices. Appius Claudius organized the construction of the first paved Roman road, the 'Via Appia', and Rome's first aqueduct. In his last years he made a speech exhorting the Romans not to make peace with the invader Pyrrhus. This speech was the first Latin oratory preserved for future generations and laid the foundation for Latin prose composition.

A Pyrrhic victory is one in which the cost of winning is so great, it makes the fact that you've won pointless. The Via Appia is the first great road, passing over the seven hills of Rome. Christian martyrs were notoriously crucified along the Appian Way.

Close, but no cigar. It's "Mulpha" in the movie.
