 		2501... nice analogy. I actually can relate to AI Man better as a "ghost" than an "Agent" per se.

However, assuming it is a bit matrix-y, if he's a program on the run (perhaps from Merv) he would have a few processor cycles to keep an eye out on all aspects of where he is...

Unless we're being too cynical, and he just doesn't want Caesar to find him (coz you can bet your ass that if it was C and Random at the tent-event, C is gonna keep huntig for this guy)...
