Doctor Who '42' (E 184) Hidden puzzle
Hidden puzle or am I paranoid...or both?

I know I'm 'a bit late' asking this but bare with me.

I have just re-watched "42". Episode 184 (or S03E07) of the Doctor Who series.

The whole thing revolves around breaking codes and answering quiz-questions. I can't escape the feeling that there must be a puzzle hidden in there. The whole thing has this ARG feel to it. No luck finding any reference on the net.

This struck me most: I noticed how the computer was counting down 42 minutes until the crash in a very strange way. Announcing every minute or every ten seconds would make sense but these numbers were so random....they probably are not. I tried some logic to crack the code but failed so far.

Here are the countdown numbers the computer actually mentions out loud.
 Code: 42:27 40:26 34:31 32:50 30:50 29:46 28:50 27:06 24:51 17:05 12:55 11:15 08:57 07:30 04:47 04:08 03:43 02:17 01:21 01:06

Other 'info' in this episode (that may help solve this)
It starts in 'Area 30'
Happy Prime numbers "Find the next number in the sequence: 313, 331, 367...?" Answer: 379.

Over 400.000 results on an internet search (Who had more pre-download Number Ones, Elvis Presley or The Beatles?)

What do you think? Am I paranoid or did I discover a 'long hidden' puzzle?

From the BBC fact file
DID YOU KNOW?:

42 minutes is the approximate length of a standard episode of Doctor Who (minus titles and credits).

42 is the age that Russell T Davies reached when Series 1 of Doctor Who began in 2005.

The first Doctor Who story that Director Graham Harper worked on was nearly 42 years ago, when he was a floor assistant on The Power of the Daleks.

42 was the age at which Elvis Presley died.

42 minutes was the length of The Beatles' last live gig, performed on the roof of Apple HQ.

To date, Elvis has had 21 number ones in the UK music charts; The Beatles have had 17.

Just 'cause I had a minute to play around...
 Code: T-      Seconds Time Minus   Diff    Diff 42:27   131     2:11 40:26   345     5:45 34:31   101     1:41 32:50   120     2:00 30:50    64     1:04 29:46   160     2:40 27:06   135     2:15 24:51   361     6:01 18:50   105     1:45 17:05   250     4:10 12:55   100     1:40 11:15   138     2:18 08:57    87     1:27 07:30   163     2:43 04:47    39     0:39 04:08    25     0:25 03:43    86     1:26 02:17    56     0:56 01:21    15     0:15 01:06    66     1:06 00:00     0     0.00

In case that helps anyone.

(I assumed the "18:50" being out of place was just a typo?
Not being able to watch the ep at work and not having seen it.)

Woops, it was a typo. I corrected it in the list.

Thanks for the input. I'll juggle these new numbers a bit.
