Dead drop acquired Hey everyone, my friend got the package. It's a photograph with some writing on the back. I haven't seen it yet either, but I will post it as soon as it is received for all to enjoy!
ETA: apparently the writing says "Herbert and Cynthia Bonnabee" so the pic must be of those two.

Chad tweeted this yesterday...

So I'm wondering if that is the facial recognition for the login on Iron Clad website. If so, maybe the picture can be used to sign in as Herbert Bonnabee.

Here are some pics of the dead-drop. I'll have my hands on the picture tomorrow evening...
The rest of the books in the section were searched. There were maps in the Polar book, but they looked as if they came with the book (the were maps of the polar expedition).
ETA: Much Higher Res pictures...

Is "ALEX" a common/nickname for an images search tool, or geneaology tool, or something like that???

The Investors login page is functional. I printed out the picture of Bonnabee acquired yesterday from the book, and have tried using it several times, with no success.

I've tried every image through this ARG and nothing has worked... Maybe my webcam sucks. Yes i even tried Marco Polo and the Vitruvian Man. Even Ernie the Elk.
I'll try again tomorrow...

I found a hidden link at the end of the article by Tristan Balfour . Unfortunately, I can't get the picture to show. From the title of the file it looks like it's suppose to be a picture on file at the newspaper, of Chad Peterson. I think we need this picture to access Iron Clad.

here it is - looks like that will work, it has a standard black/white AR style marker as a border, so the webcam may recognize it...

Thank you thebruce! We'll give it a try.
*ETA It worked!!! It appears to be an email exchange between Mr. Salt and Chad about the survey and surveyor. I'll attach an image.

The first few times I tried, I couldn't get it to work either. After I re-read what thebruce said:

I re-tried, making sure the whole border could be scanned, and it finally worked.
