What does it mean? It's so bright, so vivid!
-1 days, -1 hours, -1 minutes, -1 seconds
I'm going to bed now... Grrrrr....

2 hrs and 40 min left here in Cali, and it's 9:18 now; might as well stay up to find out what happens.

Agreed. If it's a pesky localized midnight countdown, best bets are UK, eastern and pacific. If it's not pacific, if nothing happens at 3am eastern, then bah them.

And now, Pacific, as well.
There are only a few zones left before the International Dateline

Um So...I'd hate to say this, but I've been getting something of the flu for the last couple of days...as have a lot of people in my area. I highly doubt these are connected but...what if?

Is it just me or has the background become brighter red? Wasn't it black before?

China's timezone is UTC/GMT +8 hours
eta:
Maybe the format of the date DD/MM/YY, so it's September 9, 2010. It kinda fits with the countdown if you calculate it with China's timezone
.
(Countdown on my computer is -1 Days, -20 Hours, -50 Minutes, -53 Seconds; negative numbers)
Btw, I live near China so I have the same timezone with them. Coolness

I live in Central Standard Time. Like everyone, I'm in negative time. But looking at the numbers, they aren't accurate. The seem to say a LOT more time passed than actually did. The countdown had been accurate before it reached zero, why would it be so wrong now. It's off by something to the effect of a day, and hour, and a minute.I wasn't looking at midnight, since I came down with a nasty stomach bug that lasted a few hours. Still, I'm better now, and the time difference bugs me.
