Just applied for President of community affairs. I don't see why I wouldn't get it. I'm sure I'll get the standard response!

Applied I'm brand spankin new to ARG's and after lurking on the boards for a couple of days I started looking for a game I could get in from the beginning... low and behold! So, I've applied and I guess we'll see what happens. Is there any other place that discussion on this game is happening? Are there other channels that are common that I just don't know about because I'm a stark raving noob? Just curious. Thanks!

subject I've shared a map with you: H20 Team: Our Water, Our Planet
I've shared a map with you called H20 Team: Our Water, Our Planet:
You can view and edit this map at
http://www.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&oe=UTF8&msa=0&msid=103425730385364485850.0004867becc11b3223b4f
We now have people on our team from all over the planet. Let's take a look to see where we have team members so we can better strategize and plan our attack against Aguatero Industries.
So, if you're comfortable, show us where you're located on this Google map. You don't have to put it on your exact house--just a general idea of where you're working to change the water crisis. Simply click "edit" and put a marker on the map with your name (or nickname).
And after that, be sure to visit http://ourwaterplanet.wordpress.com/aguatero/h20team/greetingsandplanning/ and meet your fellow fighters against Aguatero Industries and damaging envrionmental practices.
Things are about to heat up (and no, it's not just global warming, summer, or hot flashes causing that). So keep spreading the word--we're going to need as many people as possible to defame Aguatero Industries.
Dihydrogen monoxide forever!
Connor
I marked my city down on the map. Vancouver represent!

On the google map:
Agent Bateman
Dead Drop location
Look for the "mixed nuts" can under a flat rock with a X scratched on it.
It's a park in the Fullerton, CA area... anybody near there wanna have a look, or is this an early gamejack attempt?

I'd say it's almost definitely a gamejack.

Moved back home from school yesterday, and found the package waiting for me on my bed. Gotta say, it's pretty cool to come home to a game waiting for you!
I've put in my info to the ourwaterplanet wordpress, and I intend on applying for the Water Quality Analyst position at Aguatero. Excited to see where this goes!

Sorry Guys, I'm trying to add my location to the map, but I'm not able to. I'm not exactly sure how (clicking edit in my browser window won't do anything, and I don't see another edit button). I'm not an idiot, I'm just not getting it.

I'm on the map now. Had to log on to google with the specific email address that Connor knows, otherwise it doesn't let you edit the map...

WHOIS info on aguateroindustries.com (as suggested in the "tutorial for playing ARGs" on Unfiction). First time I've tried it; not sure what it all means, except it seems that the site way just created first of May... can anyone else glean anything useful from this?

Your WHOIS is incomplete, but no matter: it's a private registration.
One thing I did notice: GoDaddy's WHOIS has a link that goes here...
http://www.aboutus.org/AguaTeRoIndustries.com
Note the capitalization. I'm not sure where that capitalization is coming from; it's not from aguateroindustries.com

The capitalization is an automatic educated guess. I've seen a lot of websites on there having the wrong capitalization due to it.
