 		Phantom Topic Reply Notifications?
Hi guys! This is not any kind of urgent issue, just a curiosity, but I poked around on the forum and couldn't find an answer. Lately, I've been receiving phantom Topic Reply Notification emails occasionally. I get the email, eagerly click the link to the thread, and get the dreaded "The page you requested does not exist" message. Then when I manually check the thread, nothing new is there. Shocked

I don't seem to be having any other problems, and like I said, it's not really a big deal at all - I just wondered why it was happening. Thanks! Smile

 		We've been getting a lot of spam lately, so it's possible you are being notified of spam posts that are then deleted before you get to check the thread.

I received an email alert of a new PM here around 5:30 am EST, then no actual message in my inbox here. Is that a result of a spammer termination?

Could be, or it could be the result of the sender reconsidering and deleting the PM from their Outbox before you checked your Inbox (actual message delivery only occurs upon the latter action).
