From experience, these kind of items are more cost effective to produce in batch quantities. Granted, the demo video on the forum site shows them only making a few of each kind, which I may guess as being a proof lot. After that, it's incremental machine time per piece that would be able to fit on one build sheet, so they probably ordered at least a few dozen of each Bit.

I agree with the "cost effectiveness" idea. I am SO hoping that they make more of these and send them out to those who haven't received any Bits yet. (Make mine blue, please! Very Happy LOL! )

I've actually sent inquiries to multiple addresses at 42E, all at a professional level, asking them about the process they used to make these things. I've had a hard time finding places to do that sort of thing, especially local to me.

And that sort of thing could prove useful for... er... No reason whatsoever.

Honest.

No reason at all.

I've been eyeing the cupcake for a while now, but I cannot somehow justify the cost to myself. If only I could think of something I could use it for at work. Now if it could do that same with glass rather than plastic, I could give it a sell no problem. Ah well. Some day, some day.

Well that *is* cheaper than the $55,000 machine they used... Razz

ETA: Man, Toasty... If I had the money I'd get that in a heartbeat! Very Happy

I could have sworn I read they gave out t-shirts at this most recent screening. Has anyone viewed those shirts under a black light!?

If people would prefer to swap swag rather than sell it, I can offer the following:
2 x The Gotham Times: volume 1
2 x The Gotham Times: volume 2
2 x The Gotham Times: volume 3
1 x Flynn Lives t-shirt (size: Large)

Just in case you missed my post on page one, I would love to talk to anyone that is interested in selling or trading their Flynn's Arcade Token, Flynn's Arcade T-Shirt (actual swag, not purchased from online stores), Bit, and Tron Wallet.

Thanks all!
*fingers crossed* Very Happy

how much do the bits weigh?

I would love to purchase a Flynn's Arcade Token, Bit(s), and Tron Wallet.

I have FLYNN LIVES t-shirts, the green wristbands from the LA event, and a signed poster that I can trade.

Only *if* you have a "No" BIT or a NEUTRAL form Bit model, contact me and maybe we can work out a trade or something.

Looking for a Tron Wallet and Bit, Neat Stuff for Trade

Okay folks. Like everyone else, I'm looking for one of the zero hour Tron velcro wallets (with all the items included) and I'm also looking for a bit.

I have the following items for trade bait:

-Flynn's Arcade Token (these fetch crazy money on ebay)
-Flynn Lives t-shirt, Large (from the Flynn's Arcade @ Comic Con, so it has the black light codes)
-Flynn Lives t-shirt, Large (from the imax preview event)
-Flynn's Arcade Admission Ticket (I haven't seen many of these around, they were given out at Comic Con)
-Flynn Lives Poster (this is one of the black light window posters used in the scavenger hunt, so it has some tape and a small rip)
-Alice in Wonderland tea party invite with key (from Comic Con)

Thanks!
c

I picked up a "No" bit, but I'm still interested in getting a wallet! If you have one, PM me and I'll make you an offer.

Don't have much to trade for it, but I'd offer something of interest for a no bit.
