This may be laughable ... but has anyone considered using old-style 3d glasses on the colour bar images or other images - I mean the glasses with a red lens and a blue lens? I tried on a variety of png and jpeg images including the lightcycles, the quiz gif and the background gif but did not find anything noticeable.

I have even tried applying stereoscpic methods to view many images - still nothing.

Just some thoughts.
