Weird, you should be able to guest-post quite easily (I just tried and it worked without a problem), the only thing different when guest-posting is the captcha code you have to enter. Could it be that there was an Unfiction cookie from another user left on your pc or something? Another thing could be that you picked a username to post from as a guest that was already known as a registered user.

I'd advise you to throw out your cookies and/or try a different username and try again, but I guess that's besides the point now. Thanks for mentioning it though, if we see similar complaints we know we probably have to dig a little deeper.

I don't think there was a cookie on that machine as I was the only one using it (but if I see something like that again I'll clean them out).

As it was, when I hit "Post a Reply" all I got was the log on screen.

Even so, thanks for the response in this regards, and thanks for the welcome to the forum. The fact that I have an account means I'll be on a bit more often then just guest posting. You never know, this little problem would be the start of something fun.
