there's no mention of hallucinine in those comments, or anything remotely related, which leads me to believe the video was "borrowed".

Interesting idea about the Morse code. But if it's a "borrowed" video, I'm not sure how they'd work that out.

I read the rest of the chapter on Amelia Earhart. Fascinating stuff.

And Googling "dreammachine" hasn't yielded anything interesting yet.
