Response to email It's a bit hit or miss. I emailed infoSPLAT pietheory.com the first time and got a response in a couple of days with an apology for the delay. Seems they are getting a lot of emails . During the time I was waiting, I found Baron's email on the welcome page of his blog and emailed there. I got a faster response.
@DLT you may want to try baronSPLAT pietheory.com or hectorSPLAT pietheory.com.
Hey, did you ask anything that could help us solve this? maybe one of us asked the same or similar question already?

Seems like the plot is revealing itself. In the following two youtube videos, Baron and Hector see symbols that are familiar, stuck on the outside wall of their house in ~@~

Light Tower Pics? @mistyblue: Do you mean the ones posted on pietheory.com under the 3/20 feed? The ones that look like it's a tractor beam from a space ship?
That was cool. Maybe that's where the tie in is to the vigilante?

Called the Bagel Barrel again today, and asked to speak to John Vigilante.
Apparently he is not in today...I'll try again tomorrow, I guess.

Got a response back from Hector today:
Quote:
Dear Demon Lord,
Your god damn right the Chupacabra doesn't have anything to do with the JUMP. But you can't call yourself a Paranormal Investigation Expert (every thirty seconds) without staying on top of certain spooky hallmarks.
We're pretty specific about what we say is related to our JUMP theory and what's just plain spooky and what we think is total garbage. Personally I could watch Bigfoot footage all day long, it's like porn to me. So not all the stuff we look at is going to JUMP related, I wish it were. But those sightings are rare. In the meantime Baron and I will always make time in our day to analyze a good chupacabra sighting.
And that one with the cop chasing one in his car is the real deal. What I want to know is why that female Chupacabra was out during the day? Is one of her pups hungry? Was her nest destroyed? The local animal control should have been more proactive in investigating why this animal would so dangerously alter its routine.
Hope that answers your question. Feel free to ask another.
Hector
So I guess their debunking videos on youtube aren't all necessarily related to all their JUMP stuff.
The latest video about the markings is very interesting though, it certainly does seem like glyph-like ancient lettering but I cant find anything using google to try and decipher it. Irritating though, it seems so familiar yet I can't place where I've seen something similar before.

excuse the breaking cover from my lurking, just been waiting for something else to update and filling in my time
anyways...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the symbols on the wall look like babylonian cuneiform numbers possibly. the small triangles usually represent 1 (so the third bag left to right would be 4) and the symbol that looks like a boomerang represented 10. if this is right i'm not sure of the difference between the large triangle and the smaller two ont he first bag...apologies, long time since i saw this kind of numbering.
not sure if that is right or not, but thought i'd throw in my two pence worth - which is now actually around four pence thanks to deflation.

Yes, those cold weather reflected light things that someone here led the guys to. Tracter beams that look like funels the last bag on the wall had shapes similar to those shapes in the pics

Is this starting to remind anyone else of the horrible HBO nonsense that was TruBlood? I'm pretty sure they used the same gods and the same writing in that one.
Now if only I could find where I put that folder...

Hey, I liked True Blood.
Still too early to tell whether the Mayan references are going to become the prominent feature of the story. In other news, yay! Got another story picked up by Baron.

Was called back today by John Vigilante.
He asked why I was calling. I said 'I heard you saw a UFO or something in Bucks County.' He was quite confused...I think I'm going to email Baron and make sure this is the right guy.

Couple updates: quite confusing...article was posted on March 25, 2009 but it looks like a legit CBS story, so it's hard to tell where reality stops and the game begins. Personally, I feel continuing to contact Vigilante is crossing the line. Better to play it safe, and avoid harassing the general public after the first rebuff. YouTube account that posted it has been around for a while.

vigilante can't talk......and I don't know why. He is a believer. Not sure who got to him (or why) but this guy will talk to anyone about lights in the sky. See for yourself:

There is more than meets the eye in Bucks County...I should know...I have been there before.
Baron--->
P.S. Jorge, say hello to Mr. Anderson.
Jorge's email is shoutSPLAT jorgeguberte.com
Also, got a little more explanations on other stuff: take it with a grain of salt, since Baron was feeling a little humorous.

A PIE chapter is easy stuff. You take our logo, modify it to represent your regional chapter (PIE London, PIE Tokyo, PIE Auckland), get your ass a MySpace or Facebook page and start recruiting like minded members to keep an eye out for signs of the next JUMP. We really need eyes and ears all over the globe; Hector and I can't track everything at once.
JUMP stands for Junk Under My Penis. That ain't brie!
Birds (hell, animals in general) seem to sense the events preceding a JUMP better than humans. In many of the cases Hec & I have studied, birds seem to get a little wacky just before a JUMP. Kind of makes you wonder if Hitchcock didn't know something
The eagle logo...heh...Sante Sangre was an amazing film.

Why am I not surprised our Vigilante didn't know anything about this...?
Thank goodness we restrained ourselves and didn't attack him in mass, poor guy would have freaked out.
Now here's the question, why include an OOG guy IG?

Hard to tell. They could have been trying for realism or additional evangelism to potentially interested groups, but I think giving the phone number would have been a bit too far. There's the off-chance the folks behind the game approached him and asked if he'd be willing to play a role, but that somehow seems a trifle unlikely to me.
Just a warning, Jorge also appears to be a real person, albiet someone who is at least following the game (his twitter account replied to PieTheory)
