I really wish I could make it there, but I'm actually in Milwaukee. Very Happy

I wonder what's happening on the 16th. The timer on the website ends before the time/date on the rebel map.

Act 2? Isn't that a few years in the past?

Oh, that's right, this year should be ACT 11, shouldn't it? *starts researching what may have already happened in central park on Jan 17, 2000*

This year is Act 12, so it's easiest to assume it means next week.

And there's always the possibility that there will be 1 more piece to the puzzle that will add a 1 Smile

A little neater, and indicates the location of the drop. The gratitude drop isn't perfect but I had less to work with...the drop location should be spot on though.

With the initial countdown ending on Jan 16th, Act 2 (Jan 17th) might just mean we'll be moving on to the second act of the ARG. Beginning with an event in Central Park.

Hopefully that means they've got a lot more in store for us!

Yeah, do we have any guesses as to what's gonna be there? A dead drop would be a bit of a let down after all the build up--it's gotta be a meeting.

Terry Nanny in the flesh? A convention of rebels? Does Russo have any information on why NY might still be standing after the GoDSEED?

A one (or any other number) might have torn off the gratitude drop.

Any guess on my part would be total blind speculation. We haven't been given any info other than where, and now when. It has to be something significant, since everything has been building up to this. Wish I could be there to take part!

Ah! This is so exciting- I wish I wasn't nearly on the other side of the country. You can bet I'll be obsessively refreshing the forums that day!

Ok, so this is a definite "be here at this time on this day." Who is in the area and will commit to going? (It would take me over 8 hours to drive there one-way, so while I am twitching to go I'm not willing to spend the $ to stay overnight for this...but please, someone or a group of someones say you'll definitely be there at that time!)

NYC from Philadelphia is just a short drive and a train ride -- I'm so up for going!

Do we want to arrange a "pre-meetup meetup" someplace less nebulously x-marks-the-spot so we can go find our actual "X" by the correct time?

We can meet at the 85th Street Basketball Courts -- what should we bring to identify each other? I think I can borrow a pair of white "cool dog" sunglasses from my brother if necessary, or we can each bring a fennel (ha ha), or a printout of our family tree. Very Happy

And depending on how things go after the meetup, maybe we can all buy a ham-BURger when we get back from the tooooooomb.

i just sent a PM to Big T. He was the dude that went to the Library. He should be willing and able to go, since he lives in NYC.
