[TRAILHEAD] Intimation Got a rather persistent series of twitter friendings from "intimation" -- http://twitter.com/intimation (I say persistent because the requests keep coming despite me clicking "decline")
Mysterious posts, and UF-related friends leads me to strongly suspect this is a game. Nothing came when I searched for the twitter texts or the name, so I'm assuming this hasn't been posted yet.
Here are a couple of the mysterious tweets that leave me suspicious. There are over 30 in total, dating back around two weeks.

I've been being twit-spammed by intimation also and I've been too lazy to post about it XD Sorry! Is there anything to this?

Looks like a definite possibility to me. You probably noticed - but the 2 accounts that intimation is following are "Astro Pic of the Day" and "SETI@home".
The tweets are pretty bizzare, and then there's the last one. I'm gonna look thru it and see what I can find. Sound like fun anyway, and from the initial look - probably sci-fi based.

As much as I hate to admit it - the last 2 tweets are confusing me. I haven't been able to find how to translate them yet. If someone does - mind telling me how you did it/what you used?

They apparently followed me briefly as well. MANY spelling errors in the tweets adds to the strangeness (and ARGishness) as well.

Re: [TRAILHEAD] Intimation source The quotes are all from T.S. Eliot's poem The Hollow Men . (So is Intimation's bio.)

Is the code in the spelling errors? Each entry has a possible code part Looking at this, there seems to be some sort of pattern to the spelling mistakes.
I just went over this and made notes (probably not complete, as Jay is asking me work questions at the same time). Maybe a message is hidden in the tweets?
1. (no clue)
2. none
3. none
4. R
5. Z/none (do they spell paralyzed with an s in Europe?)
6. (no clue)
7. A
8. none
9. none
10. none
11. none
12. I
13 (no clue)
14. none
15. A
16. W
17. R, R
18. E
19. none
20. none
21. N
22. none
23. L, I
24. L, N, Y
25. none
26. none
27. W
28. none
Then there are the two coded messages, and I'm bad at codes... anyone have an idea of the first, sixth and thirteenth phrases and what those spelling "errors" might be? I'll try and look up the long play of T.S. Elliot's whole poem later. Thank you for finding the source Shad0

I was requested by this person too I think I'll wait to see what pans out before I accept him though. I don't seem to find much time for ARGs these days...

Yup. In England, anyway.

Great work there! You're awesome MrToasty, double letters in some of these which looks even more like someone is trying to leave a hidden message.
Thank you Shad0 - I thought maybe by the use of colour, it was Formal English spelling rules, but wasn't sure for exactly which words that would be s vs. z.
I'm thinking anagram, anyone else?

Well, I notice that there are 3 Ws, a C and an M. looks an awful lot like a web address (minus the O). I tried to anagram the remaining letters:
hrntaiealaarrenlilfy
and got some funny results, but nothing meaningful. thought maybe the numbers would be a clue, but so far can't seem to relate them to the text in any meaningful way.
EDIT: You can also remove the words "reality" (almost)"alternate" and "real life" at least. could be more tweets on the way, and you pull out "alternate reality" or some such thing...

Might as well mention I also got the nod from intimation earlier this week, but have just been too busy to follow up on it. I wasn't sure if it was something new starting, or part of some other game I'm involved with. The space theme made me think it might be '2012' related, since that game also just went active on twitter... but that was only a passing thought, and I really haven't looked into it.
Whatever it is, it appears to have kl00s , so I'm in =)

I just got back from visiting family for Xmas....and intimation friended me.
Ok so I looked up The Hollow Men by TS Eliot....the name seems very familiar to me.
EDIT: No wonder it's familiar it's the poem that ends 'This is the way the world ends, Not with a bang but a whimper.'.
