Shakespeare does seem to play a big part but the spacing doesn't seem really innocent to me.

EDIT: Mine is already up. That's pretty quick.

Which makes me pretty darn happy, because a lot of the ARGs I get interested in are like "Wooooo, math! Computer dissection!" and I'm just sort of like "Huuuuh?" and following a mile behind everybody else.

I've always been a literary person myself. Smile

Curious as to when this'll kick off, from the list of eyes they have plenty of people. (interesting how the eyes keep randomizing, it'd be interesting if they made a collage or mosiac out of them!)

EDIT: The title still bothers me, so I played around with it some. Why ghosts of a chance? Why not ghosts of chance? Or ghost of a chance? Flip it around and you get a chance of ghosts, which fits nicely with the Shakespearian theme we have going.

Hamlet anyone?

So, I gotta ask... Besides someone collecting lots of pictures of eyes... Is this really an ARG?

I know... wait, wait, wait... Guess I'm impatient sometimes.

I mean, we know it's hooked in with the smithsonian (I think we know?). I suppose it could be some sort of art installation in progress? But if that's the case, wouldn't they need the sites and sources and some sort of release for the incantations and eyes?

I'm trying to figure out what else it could be. I checked september eighth on the smithsonian calendar, and there's nothing

Is there anyone near enough to go take look at the Smithsonian themselves?

I'm 45mins from DC. Part of the reason I was interested in this game. Just wouldn't know which museum to check out, or where to start looking.

Might be a pointless drive considering the Sept. 8 date but you could ask them about the eye shown on the site that started all this.

Considering they hired a banana hammock wearing bodybuilder, covered him with henna and had him walk into the ARGFest conference and pose....

I'm gonna say "Yes"

Or, maybe he was just a street freak that found out the hotels are less dangerous.

I'm trying to supress that memory, and I wasn't even there.

I think on that page there's a "Locate Piece" button. I might be going up to DC to check out GW University, so I'll stop by there if I can.

..and I find overly muscled men with tattoos endearing! You just know there'a big softie in there.

Ok so I was looking at the website and checking out the eye photos and noticed something that may or maynot be anything.

I was looking at the properties of the eye, just to see if there was any clue or anything in the name. Well the eye is number 5.jpg. So me being me, I started typing in different numbers to see what eyes came up and I found that alot of the other old art eyes are numbered 3-6.jpg.

Now I know that they keep basicaly the same name used when sent in, but I just found that quite interesting. Did anyone send in these eyes?

They had several 'seed' eyes up to start with so that the page would not be blank to start.

Probably just a coincidence but
The John F. Kennedy Memorial Centre for the Performing Arts is administered by a bureau of the Smithsonian Institution and opened on Sept 8th 1971

There doesn't seem to be any Shakespeare related performance on around that time .
