WHY THE NAME RYAN ARCHER WAS CHOSEN OK, I don't know that this will do anything for us as far as the ARG goes. But I think I may know why they chose the name "Ryan Archer"
They are referencing Operation Able Archer from the 1980's when the US and the Soviet Union almost went to war by accident.
See here: Look under Operation Ryan
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Able_Archer_83
Hence the name Ryan Archer

Transcript for 3 of the 4 audio clips on RAFP Transcripts for some of the audio on ryanarcherforpresident.com I'm a newb, and hopefully I'm not trouting while doing this, but I figured I'd get a start with something basic and transcribe the audio on the ryanarcherforpresident.com (RAFP) site. Here's what I have, with guesses for some words in italics.
My first broadcast
Hello, this is Ryan Archer again with more questions than answers. Question 23. Did the government decide on rent-a-side ? Can a spider save its web by eating its head?
People are starting to take notice
Tomcats, Apaches, Chinooks. They fly in our air. Is it a dream, or is it my army? Be all that you can be. Stand by your flag. Is the police state called Kansas now? Is there a Leavenworth colonel hovering over my garden? Will he tell me what I can and cannot plant ? When he sees the stalks of cannons there, will he tell me to rip wheat in its place? Will he command me, or do we command him? Archer, Ryan Archer for President. (siren sound, then static)
My confidence increases
We are nomads again in our place. We are spiritual voyagers who must complete the journey of self-knowledge. We form democracy to carry a circle, but now that circle is distorted; it is frayed/fraying . Was it ever a perfect circle? Not yet, but we can deflate our greed. We can share our time. We can search for a center. To seek perfection may be our next remarkable option. Ryan Archer for President. (siren sound, then static)
The second message (The second blast) is tricky to transcribe, and I'm still working on that, but I wanted to contribute to the effort. Hope this helps.

The Second Blast The second blast is the broadcast that has most intrigued me. I took a stab and transcribing MotherBrain, hope you don't mind. Maybe we can all help a little and get this fully transcribed. Here is what I heard:
This is Ryan Archer with more questions than answers. Do you think there’s anybody left in DC? My guess is no; but I’m going to look and go. The answers will be the show. [In the rising of the tide…] While running for president along these lines, I will not dictate terms; I will share terms and thinking with you.
The next couple of sentences are unintelligible to me. lol. Something about [baskets?] and chickens [lost?]. But the last sentence is very clear.
Do you subscribe to terricide?
Terricide is defined as the killing of the earth.
Well I guess I now understand all the references to nature and natural balance in his blog

Awesome, was hoping he'd pop up. Nice to put a face with the voice. I went to this site so many times before it existed. Can't wait to see what's next!

Transcript of the second blast Mrs. Who, thanks for the help. Building on what you got, with a slight modification here or there (again, italics are for garbled words):

In the rising of the tide, or mine for President along these lines, I will not dictate terms, but share terms in thinking with you. Looking into the future from now, that’s their sign : a vision talks, a chicken walks, you subscribe to terricide.
I couldn't find a definition for terricide (or alternate spellings, like terracide) in the Oxford English Dictionary or Merriam-Webster, and when I googled it, I got a reference to some computer game, which I thought was odd. I agree with Ms. Who's definition, based on context. Maybe we should be on the lookout for neologisms he's coining during his broadcast?[/quote]

Well Terricide (or terracide) is a concept written about by a French sociologist (and Marxist) Henri Lefabvre (I am not sure of the spelling, it's been awhile). I'll try to look him up and edit my post.
I don't recall a lot about him other than he was very controversial for his time-- and quite the character.
And is it just me or is Mr. Archer kind of a nut job? lol
EDIT: Boy butchered THAT. It is Henri Lefebvre
Here is a link I found that mentions the term and its meaning. It makes for very interesting reading particularly when viewed within the context of the ARG.

Apparently, when I called his cut a "bite"......... I must have been thinking "eyetooth"
