For those of you saying that Kirk wouldn't ravish your significant other if he was male, then it's time for you to do a web search on something called Slash fiction, originated in the Trek verse and deriving it's name from when the author would say, "This is Kirk/Spock fanfiction". (Read as Kirk Slash Spock.)
Also, I'm thinking the intel thing ain't ARG, and that makes me very sad.

Yes, yes. I think most of us know about slash. We were just talking about cannon Kirk. Not Fan-tasies.

Ya know, its getting late. Are we even sure there is going to be a viral campaign for the new flick?
It began to look like it with the original site and little red dot leading to the starfleet construction site with the mystery window etc..
But now, with only 5 months left, they aent leaving much time to hook us up..
What say ye?

Saw this at the Wired Underwire blog: short video and behind thte scenes, with JJ Abrams interview:

And this thread just made a year. Hoping that the game picks up as we get closer to the release date.

So, one year and one month later, we still have 4 shipyard cameras that have not changed at all..
One helluva game..

I hate to say it, but this is sort of what we have come to expect from mister J. J. Abrams and his "ARGs." See also: Cloverfield, LOST, Fringe, etc.

I had lots of fun with Cloverfield. Maybe J.J. got annoyed at people doing everything they could to sponge off his work in viral marketing whilst at the same time whining about how sucky his 'game' was, and that it wasn't even a 'game'.
I am seriously disappointed though that NOTHING has been done with that site this whole time. I do hope it wasn't meant to just be an eternal tease. Either way, this not-a-game thing is working, because you're still checking the site and paying any attention at all to this thread.

Yes. I would have liked to see the game they had in mind unfold as its obvious they wouldnt have just put this one site up with the mysterious corridor and tuning cameras unless they were going to take it somewhere. But the change in release date must have also changed the plan for that game... I mean, who would just contract someone for that one page alone to just sit there for a year and a half?
