Cool idea!
I only check the puzzle boards themselves, so only just saw this thread... Perhaps there are others doing the same? Should a thread be posted over there?

Response from Michael Smith, CEO at Mind Candy I usually post on the official PXC forums, but I wanted to share this news with you here too.
I've just received an email response regarding my cube from Michael Smith, Mind Candy's CEO. It's not good news and clears nothing up. I've quoted the email below, and I've replied, asking if this refers to just the ARG or Wave 2 as well. I just hope the other cubes bring a better response.

Hey there
Thanks for the cube! Very creative
I remain very keen to relaunch Perplex City in the future, but sadly there are no plans in the short-term. We'll make sure you guys are the first to know as soon as there is something to announce.
Thanks for your continued interest!
All the best

Update for what it's worth Just an FYI for those cubehunters who've still got their rss readers still scouring the net for all things PXC: I e-mailed Divinia over at MindCandy for an update on any hope for season 2. I asked if they had shifted all their attention to Moshi Monsters and abandoned PXC completely. She replied:
Quote:
In truth we have been so busy with the little monsters that we haven't had a chance to do anything with PerplexCity. As I have mentioned previously, our plan is definitely to return to PerplexCity, we just need to devote some more of our time to Moshi before we do that. We do have card etc in our warehouse ready for a return and I will let you know when we get close.
Best,
Divinia

Hey that's me
So the news is: no news, good or bad. It's still on hold, and it's still going to be on hold a while. I can live with that. (I still hope they hire back as many of the old writers as possible)

See, the problem is, despite all that 'no news either way' my hopes are now all up again - having just thought to check for PXC news after what, a year? A year and a half?
But Scott's right - if they can get hold of the old writers, they should be able to revive PXC and make it great again. I'd hate to see it be resurrected only to not meet up to the standard of Season One.
