I KNEW there had to be one there. I even went over the person, but I think I was moving the mouse too fast to notice the change.

I went to amazon.com and searched for the book and i got this
http://www.amazon.com/Through-Eyes-Madness-G-Garner/dp/0979868793/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1199490610&sr=8-1

and when you click on his name you get a page that shows another book
http://www.amazon.com/Marine-Mammal-Survey-Assessment-Methods/dp/9058090434/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1199491082&sr=1-2

and i noticed that hes not actually listed as one of the authors
but theres a man by the name of Gerald W. Garner
strange seeing as he says his name is G.D. Garner

not sure

Im not too sure bout this because its just to weird, BUT when i googlled the name of the book (and the site) I came on a photoalbum page here:
http://pets.webshots.com/album/471518784tOunKk
what matches the "Its not hard if you look just turn the pages of the book." riddle, the photoalbum being the book.
Now, what is odd is that there seem to be some random pics of some kids, but the pictures are categorized under rabbits ("If it is rabbits that you seek you better take a peak.") The title of the page is "from fear through the eyes of madness"
I dont have the time now to look more at it, but i will tommorow

According to Amazon, this book was published in early November. There are already a few customer reviews posted on the page along with some used copies available for sale.

Heres what I sent him

And heres what I got back

For now I can assure you the key will not be easy to obtain....but you

can find what you need close to where you are looking.

All is not what it seems....collect what is available to you
now....obtain what you do not have and return to enter the gate.

When you have proven yourself I may be of some assistance.

By the time we speak you will already know what to do.

Eh, we all make mistakes.

Anyways, might be, might not be important, but I looked at the source of the rabbithole page. Seems we're supposed to be looking for a username and password between 1 and 16 characters each:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
if (theForm.username.value == "")

alert("Please enter a value for the \"username\" field.");
theForm.username.focus();
return (false);

if (theForm.username.value.length less than 1)

alert("Please enter at least 1 characters in the \"username\" field.");
theForm.username.focus();
return (false);

if (theForm.username.value.length greater than 16)

alert("Please enter at most 16 characters in the \"username\" field.");
theForm.username.focus();
return (false);

if (theForm.password.value == "")

alert("Please enter a value for the \"password\" field.");
theForm.password.focus();
return (false);

if (theForm.password.value.length less than 1)

alert("Please enter at least 1 characters in the \"password\" field.");
theForm.password.focus();
return (false);

if (theForm.password.value.length greater than 16)

alert("Please enter at most 16 characters in the \"password\" field.");
theForm.password.focus();
return (false);

Bolded pertinent part of the code, and changed other bits so it can be seen.

Although more code in the source suggests it's between 1 and 10 each:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
webbot bot="Validation" b-value-required="TRUE" i-minimum-length="1" i-maximum-length="10"

Though that part is almost certainly not for us.

EDIT:
Looked at the source on the Gate pages. Looks like Gates 1-4 are all 1-10 characters for both username and password while 5-10 are all 1-16 on both

How far back in News & rumors is that post? It's from late November. Looks like a couple of different threads got started on the same game.

I found it on page 2.

My undrstanding of this clue was, the first one, codes for the rabbit hole gate ( a place with no cover, but it could be gate 1-10 ) is really hard but once you figured out that, the rest will hopefully be not as crazy as the first one.

Wolfhawk, did you figure out what is the madman's clue yet?

No. All I've gotten so far is the chapter 1 book code and it isn't helping much. I have yet discover ANY of the password combinations to open anything! LOL

Let us know how the book is.

I am really interested to hear if the book is written in the same style that the supposed "First Chapter" from the site is. He used a lot of "..." and such... I wonder how he got that through publishing.
