ASSESSING THE FIRE DAMAGE - August 24, 2003

Local authorities were sifting through the remains of Wes Keeler's Emporium of the Weird yesterday, looking for any evidence of what may have caused the fire that destroyed the building Friday night. "Thank God no one was hurt," said Aglaura Deputy Fire Chief Dean Short, "Even though the building is a complete loss." Deputy Chief Short also confirmed that an unusual burn pattern was found in the center of the burned out building, raising suspicions of arson.
The Emporium of the Weird was located at 333 South Main Street in Aglaura and was closed at the time of the fire. The owner, Wes Keeler, was seen at the site yesterday, surveying the damage of his ruined store. He refused to make any comment on the fire or the possible cause.

 		ANOTHER FIRE IN AGLAURA - August 25, 2003

Aglaura Fire officials have confirmed that they responded to and successfully extinguished yet another fire in Aglaura late last night, this time at the Aglaura Public Library. Details are unavailable yet but damage is reportedly minimal thanks to the timely fire call from an unidentified person walking by the Library who spotted the fire just beginning.
