EDIT: When Tom says "always look for what you are mssng" do you think he may be referring to the punctuation in the letter as well?

I noticed there are three "."'s that are missing.

One after the word "again"

Another after the "ps"

The last is after the word "mssng"

So that means there(edit: three) dots and two "i"s are missing. Could this add to the morse code? Just a thought...

Well, i found that "..." in morse code translates to S....where could S be added?

Or three dots over two bars? as in ... II since all of the letters are capitalized. That would be 13 in the Mayan numerals. Or maybe 14 since, doesn't PS usually have two periods in it? P.S.

p.s. (2 dots)

again. (1 dot)

mssng. ( 1 dots)

it adds up to "...." which translates to H.

your right, so its 4 missing dots and two i's.. so if we put it in order it would be:

(again).

would 2 man need a dash? like 2(-)man?

(P).(S).

(mssng) i i .

im not too good with morse code but if you turned the i's on their side, doesnt that equate for anything?

if put together.. it would be

. - . . i i .

if you turned the i's on their side wouldnt it look like this : ".-"

if thats the case then...

. - . . . - . - . <--- mean anything?

EDIT:

Quote:
Barcodes: The 'Mayan' ones are missing 4 stars, and have a box around it.

4 missing stars (in the barcode), 4 missing periods (in the letter)

prolly nothin, but anyone think it relates?

It's not just missing dots. Remember, the base of the "i" is missing as well. In case you're wondering, . . . . - in morse code is 4. Does that mean anything to anyone?

Odd.... sMooTh WuN just pointed out that there were 4 missing dots in the letter and 4 missing numbers in the barcode...

4 might be pretty important...but that could just be a coincidence.

EDIT: 4x3 also equals 12, not sure how important that is though.

. - .. .-.-. would translate to ETI. Again, I have no idea what that means

But i think this whole morse code thing is nothing...

That could also translate to

AICE

I agree, this isn't fitting....

EDIT: I wonder what would happen if you scan the barcodes.... But then again I know little to nothing about them.

To the eighteen regular months the Maya appended a special five-day month called Wayeb composed of 5 days which were considered unnamed and unlucky. Thus the days were counted: One Imix, Zero Pohp, Two Ik, One Pohp. When the thirteenth day was reached the next day was Thirteen Ben, Twelve Pohp; then One Ix, Thirteen Pohp, Two Men, Fourteen Pohp. After Seven Ahaw, Nineteen Pohp, the next day was Eight Imix, Zero Wo.

i know someone already mention the "two men" thing but this definitely has to be a clue.

we need some sort of starting point other than a couple of pictures..

EDIT: so if im readng correctly, the days go:

Day 1.) one imix
Day 2.) zero pohp
Day 3.) two ik
Day 4.) one pohp... and so on..

till ...

Day 14.) thirteen ben
Day 15.) twelve pohp
Day 16.) one ix
Day 17.) thirteen pohp
Day 18.) TWO MEN

... and so on

this is rather confusing so am i wrong with this order?

Yeah, i pointed out two men, but i believe mine was a mere coincidence.

Also, yes, i absolutely agree with you, it is EXTREMELY hard to solve puzzles with a letter and some meaningless barcodes.

I don't think so.
Look at all the missing text.
misspelled letters, punctuation, capitals.
This could be our next clue.
