;-) tinag22 Thanks - and yes, I know the definition, but this was a reference to another post on here and a couple people mentioning it as for why it's being used in UF, the significance or what does it refer to, etc. under our names. Like "boot" early on. For the longest time I thought it was a category of everyone potentially booted off here.
That's what I meant. Sorry I didn't clarify it better. Or does it have no particular reference at all?

I'm 100% sure this has been discussed before but whats with the circle on the back of the black guys shirt. It stays on the same spot throughout the sequence if you watch the trailer but it looks like someone is shining it on him...

[JK]ZOMG I KNOW WHAT THE MONSTER LOOKSS LIKE!!!!! IT'S IN THE GIRLS HAIR!!! IT LOOKS LIKE CTHULU!!!!
(this message brought to you by the I.C.C.= Idiotic Cthulu Cultists)
OMG just found this on wikipedia
Quote:
The star-spawn of Cthulhu, or Cthulhi, have a physical simility with Cthulhu himself, but are of far smaller size. This race arrived with him, but relatively little is known about them. On earth they built the city R'lyeh, which later sank in the ocean, and where they still dwell with Cthulhu. A few are rumored to have escaped this incident, and can be found in hidden places on earth.
maybe that means......

What's with the crazy attitudes? I've been following this since I first read about it on AICN in June. I discovered unfiction a short time later and got hooked. I didn't know anything about ARG's before I started reading the numerous threads on this site, but I find them really interesting and was looking forward to playing this - potential - ARG. But I have to put something forward that has been troubling me as of late: what is with the attitudes? I can totally understand a person who has been a member of this site for three or four years pointing an ignorant poster in the right direction and recommending the search function next time. But people who have only posted ten or twelve times responding to guests or new players with crazy passive-aggressive posts laden with emoticon trouts and dancing locks? It's like high school behavior (as I realize most of the people on here are probably still in high school)! The upsetting part is I know full well there is nothing anyone can do about it. Take this for what it's worth. A small, vocal minority is making all the rest of us look really stupid.

If you're talking about me then... I must say I apologize. It gets annoying when you see there are about 10,000 new posts with nothing being discovered in the past month or so. I would also like to say that it is annoying when people keep insisting something that is ridiculous and has been proven wrong and posted at least 100 times.

Not you, CJ! You know, the second I posted my original thought I realized it looked like I was chastising you, but that couldn't be further from the truth. I was referring to other threads and other posts but I wanted to put this in a "general" thread. Anyway, CJ, I don't believe you have anything to be sorry about. But I think you'll agree, if you read some other threads, that certain people are completely power hungry.
By the way ... my new personal favorite quote: "Guys, let's try to keep this site clean."
Are you freaking kidding me? It's a little late (clears throat) for that! This site is dirtier than New York on January 19, 2008.

[PHEW] lol good don't want to PO anyone lol... but i agree the site is dirty. i mean what 4(5?) pages of threads half of which are locked. and there's a new thread every day! So that means by 1-18-08 we would have..uhh one sec...*opens calculator*...roughly 156 (at least)more threads to come. lol
