[HAAS][INT] Email To and From Triton Enterprises

Note: Triton Enterprises was first discovered when they suddenly became the registrant of the ethanhaaswasright.com domain. That record provided a contact of johnschneckelSPLATgmail.com, but the Triton Enterprises website, once it launched, provided an address of informationSPLATtritonenterprises.net for contact purposes.

Since I just received a new reply from Triton Enterprises (from an email I sent on July 11), I figured it was time interaction with them got a thread. The new email I just got from their information@ address is below.

Quote:
Thank you for your interest in Triton.

We can certainly send you more information about our company, please send us your details.

We cannot open our facility to the general public due to the nature of our work however if you are seeking employment please send us your resume as we are currently reviewing all potential candidates.

If you match what we are looking for we'll most certainly be in touch.

It was in response to my email to them which read: "While you're still launching your website, could I get some more information about your product line? Also, I'm down here in Portland, just a short jump from Stevenson. Is there any opportunity to tour the new facility?"

 Another Email from Triton

Hi guys, long time reader, first time poster.
I also received a reply moments ago, just before checking OMG WTF EHWR ;c)
I sent the following email to them on July 19th,
Quote:
Hello,
I am a representative of the Biology Department of the University---. Would it be possible to receive a catalog of your current products? We would be interested in purchasing parts for our Nuclear Magnetic Resonance operations. I recently spoke to the representative Kellie Graham and she directed me to your still upcoming website.
Thank you for your time,
-----------
University of ----- Department of Protein Crystallography

Minutes ago I received the reply
Quote:
Hello ---, We most certainly could use a person of your talents, would you be interested in employment with Triton?
What address should we send the information to?

I replied with my Box Number at the University and showed interest in a possible position with them. It seems we're getting individual emails but in bulk, although the offering of a job position is a constant. Anyone else receive anything?

So, either they're asking for people's addresses just for world-building purposes, or we're about to expand into offline.

They didn't ask for my resume...

All I got was:
Quote:
Hi ****,

Don't worry about job opportunities, if we think you have potential we'll be contacting you....

you have to give them something that could be shown as useful to the company to get the offer

list having skills that would be useful and you are more likely to get an offer

Could fj4738r be the US Department of Defense Contractor ID they are looking for? Silly, I know. Perhaps sending anything identifying you as a contractor would work.

I think people have tried sending "anything" as the ID. I didn't even think to use this filename as the ID.

You should try it.

Do you think it would make a difference if I already emailed them.

Heh. That was actually what I was wondering, and why I didn't say I'd go try it.

Hmm.

Lol, that contactor ID number has been driving me nuts. It is why I ended up sending them an e-mail about job opportunities after all my other attempts to figure it out failed.

But I don't think that one will work because it has non numeric characters in it. At the same time it's not going to hurt to try it.

Looking on http://prmis.hqda.pentagon.mil you can actually track down what a DoD Contractor ID is *supposed* to look like.

A contractor ID number should be 9 numbers long, arranged XX-XXX-XXXX.

Maybe this will inspire someone?

I had left this game and was going to wait till 8-1 to start it up again, but I got this email and figured I'd pass it along. I've included my original message to Triton. Only thing that's edited is my addy and last name.

Quote:

Hi Scott,

Our employee database does not show a record or either person, of course our database only goes back to the 1950's.

To whom it may concern,

I am looking at the resume of one Van Mantra. He lists you as one of his former employers. He also lists someone named Ethan Haas as a reference and he seems to work for you as well. Could you provide me with verification that Mr. Mantra worked for you and a possible contact for Mr. Haas or anyone that could serve as his reference?

Thank you,
Scott

I just sent this(I'm only blotting my name, email, and school because in other ARG's I'm playing the PM's look on here and use the info ingame, so I don't want them to know.):

Quote:

To whom it may concern:

I recently contacted your customer service department asking who I
should be in touch with in respect to hiring options. They refused to
give me a named contact, but I was given this email address. I was told
to simply give my credentials and the reason for the contact.

Name: * *
Street address: Will change in three weeks give or take a few days, but I
will keep you posted.
Email: *@*.*

I have a bachelor's degree from * in Biomedical Engineering, with
a double-major in Mathematics, from * University. I graduated
near the top of my class, and excelled in diverse areas such as materials
science, programming, digital logic, and biomechanics. Skills that I have
include fluency with Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel),
fluency with MatLab 7, experience with electrophoresis gels, experience
with Western blotting, experience with other assorted assays, good
personal skills, and excellent work habits.

I hope to hear from you soon, and I look forward to the possibility of an
interview.

Sincerely,

I liked the server error part, it was an original touch.

PS: got the autoresponse. Maybe they'll check it later.

Triton
email from triton

Been away for a few days due to real life issues, however I got a personal email from Triton, as I am sure a lot of us did, however I thought I would post it here.

I sent the following to them.

Date: Wed, July 11, 2007 1:16 pm
To: informationSPLATtritonenterprises.net

Are you building the future according to the visions of Ethan Haas?

They replied yesterday with this.

Hi Christian,

We are building the future on a far greater vision.

Stay tuned.
