its not a flea market its a collectibles shop, read back a few pages.

From what i gathered from their website it looks like a nerdy hobby shop type place. with a lot of rare stuff, but thats just the impression i got

I followed the whois rabbithole into a domain naming some cows as owners...a winner of the 2006 bronze medal for viral campaigns and timewasters...according to the abcissa thing...Im pretty lost...any idea on wtf is all this stuff?

Thought you all might find this interesting. It seems likely that the inspiration for the "Monstrous" poster is this famous Liberty Bonds poster from WW1 which is described in Rutgers' Library Special Collections

Even though the Monstrous poster isn't confirmed as real yet, maybe there's something here (assuming also that the new poster really is based on the WW1 poster).

In the old days, they knew the meaning and power of symbols. Destroying the SOL meant the end of all we hold dear. It is a global symbol of liberty, not just an American one, so any suggestions that this is some anti-American flick are either just stupid or Bad Robot's run by a bunch of high-school idiots.

I'm not calling out the OP, but does anyone not think it odd that a poster that is unidentifiable is posting something that looks remarkably associated with this new movie in a forum that is teeming with ideas that are obviously false? I'm not saying the movie poster is a fake, rather that the OP is possibly IG.

Because it's very bad form and severely frowned upon for people behind the curtains to do something like that, and nobody who runs a respectable ARG would do something like that.

"Puppetmasters" as they are called are not alowed according to the TOS here.

Scroll to the "Puppermaster" section.

Also there is a "Puppetmaster" rules section linked up the "Welcome" box of all the pages here under the UnFiction logo.

To be fair, I'm pretty sure a lot of store vendors/owners would try stop you if they saw you trying to get a photo of their merchandise... I can certainly understand why the pictures are of the quality we've seen so far.

Damn. It just seemed that clearer photos showing the top and base of the poster had come from a larger image which you'd then cropped the 'selected highlights'... ah well, thanks for getting back to me on that. Smile


I remember the Liberty Bonds poster quite well, there's what I can only assume is a full scale reproduction of that poster in 'Liberty Arcade' at Disneyland Paris. I'd actually been meaning for a long time to try make a modern version of it using photo elements but hadn't really gotten all that far with that project...

Parasitemovie.com and TheParasiteMovie.com are fakes. The only IG domains found so far are 1-18-08.com, CloverfieldMovie.com, TheCloverfieldMovie.com, slusho.jp, and slusho.com.

Frank And Son is a collectible comic book SHOW!!!

It has over 300 dealers with rare "nerdy" items..... THIS IS LIKE A SMALLER COMIC CON on a weekly basis. I've been there many times......
