 		[SPEC] Could we be doing the experimenters' work for them???
We're being encouraged to do all this collective activity...Why?
Please scuse slightly insane first ever post in the unforum, but I've been following this game for a while and there's this thing that keeps bugging me. Obviously please trout me if this has come up before, and in any case be kind to the n00b...

Anyway. I keep picking up references from Frankie and from Dr Wilson to 'pulling together as one', and 'a lot of brain activity on everyone's part' and similar. So what I'm wondering is this:

1) Remember all those references around the YouKin site to how Youshi was made from 'the building blocks of life'. There were some references to experiments that showed how, with some basic molecules, combined with electricity, you might be able to synthesise new life?

2) So then, when Eva started drinking Youshi, she began manifesting psychic abilities at moments of intense emotion? So I started wondering then whether the 'building blocks of life' in Youshi could combine with intense (ELECTRICAL) brain activity to create new life? Which would mean that Eva was actually the host organism or breeding-ground for something they're trying to manufacture!

3) So what if it's extended now from Eva to us? All this stuff about getting us collaborating, with all our (ELECTRICAL) brain activity working together 'as one'. What if they're doing it to us too? Or what if we're now fuelling whatever it was that started out when Eva took the Youshi, actually in the process of collaborating on this question? Especially now we've decoded the 'FEED BEEF FACE' thing - and 'Beef Face' was one of Eva's nicknames - doesn't it raise again the possibility that Eva/Subject180287 are the same thing, that they're all lying to us about 'Eva' and her distress, and that the experiment is actually feeding and growing through our collaborative emotional activity around it?

4) Is Eva trapped in the middle of this thing? If we're helping to feed it, and we can't do this without collaborating, how can we help her? Or if, possibly, we're feeding something by collaborating around it, is Eva actually a goodie at all? Is 'Eva' maybe a front for something entirely more sinister, with US as the real subject experiment...?

Edit: Some or all of the above may make sense. *slinks back into lurk mode*

 		Gah! So many possibilities. This must be how Pat and Dave feel - now my paranoia is at such a stage that I'm starting to think EVERYTHING is a conspiracy!

Working on another ARG spoof? Did we ever really figure out the purpose of metacowtechs?

Long story short, it led us to a conspiracy-theory site about the Montauk Project. Basically, it just offered confirmation that Eva is part of the MP.

 		Oh, don't feel silly for posting--I am sure we're doing at least some of their work for them, and I think probably most people here suspect that to a greater or lesser degree.

We don't know how much work we're doing for them, which I think is part of the puzzle of it all. We don't know who to trust.

In some cases, we think, all right, we're being asked to wake Eva up--well, that's something we want, too. If there is an Eva. And if she's really kidnapped. So, what the heck, let's help wake her up.

But other things...who knows?
