Unhandled Exception Errors

Just looking at the differences in the three error messages.

Yshk La - Unhandled Exception 0x320134
Yshk Gai - Unhandled Exception 0x660714
Yshk Sha - Kayk Takma (Dead End???)

Seeing as map coordinates have been brought up, could these numbers have meaning?

It's odd that there would be different error codes for the same error "document could not be found"

I THINK that if you are logged into a Google account, Google will refer to you in third person, so an account named hank would have to have been made...

Nope. Just checked, and logged in or not, Google invites you to make this spot "my default location".

I GUESS it would be hankSPLATgmail.com, but this is probably way off

Probably. I wouldn't email it unless we get more of a clue to do so.

My question right now, does the gif link number that brings us to Hank's location mean anything?

I'm not sure, but you can use it to arrive at coordinates very close to the ones given in the illustration:

320134660714 = 320134 660714 = 32.0134, -66.0714

Unless we make the second value negative, we land somewhere in Afghanistan. I can't tell differences, but 32.0134, -66.0714 looks like it's very close to 32.022333, -6.119000

Oh, yeah. There you go. 320134 and 660714 form the file name for the map image and also relate to the location depicted.

Ahhh, now we're getting somewhere.

http://www.746865656e64.com/curiosity/images/itbegins_1.gif

If you go to that link, it lists all of the gif images on the page. It seems weird how the page was assembled. Any takes?

EDIT: The link only shows the images containing a 1... but you get the idea. There are over 30 or so images making up the page.

Also, the bluish stone on the Curiosity page is called Larimar. it's only found in the Dominican Republic.

Indeed it is, I just found the source of the image:

Pictures Link

The link to the list of pictures is just web server software trying to be clever.

Do a google search for "300 Multiple Choices"

What language is the Dominican Republic website in?

Ok, thinking about the cryptic clues on the Curiosity page

The deep whispering secrets, seeking what we have lost, and the map of a spot out at sea all make me think that there is a sunk ship on that spot

Also, I reckon that either it's captain was called Hank, it was called Hank, or there is a guy out there doing a salvage dive called Hank

"He is obsessed" could also be someone searching for a sunk ship, while she could be mourning over it...

The blood of the king could be the blood of those who died aboard the ship when it sank, and the fact that it holds the key could be why 'Hank" is looking for it

Just a theory

I know that, but I was just trying to show how the page consists of 30-some images, pieced together, when you would think they could use only a few images. Maybe that's irrelavent though.

Now that you mention it, the sunken ship idea makes quite a bit of sense, looking at the cryptic messages.

Is there a way to do a search for the user "Hank" on Google?

I'd assume that the "hank's default location" thing is him trying to be clearer- because without this, we might not have associated the location with hank?

The original site was broken down like that too - I think it was designed to make us think there was something more to the surrounding picture.

I think what needs to happen is someone in the US (I'm in Australia, too far away) needs to find the registry for ships or sunk ships or something like than, and check if there are any ships on that spot, which i believe is most likely

If we find out there was a ship sunk there, we can research it to help decipher some of the very cryptic clues, as currently they seem to be all we have.

I did a bit of a search. I'm in Canada. The closest record of a ship sinking off the coast of bermuda was not at the same coordinates as the ones shown for Hank on the page. They don't seem related in any way, other than the fact that they are both near the boast of Bermuda.
