I hate to say I told ya so, however I did fuckin' tell ya so. I recommend the classic "Projection of the Astral Body" by Muldoon & Carrington. Not another Astral Projection book is necessary, although "Voyages Beyond The Body" is like a watered-down pseudo-scientific pop-culture exploration of the phenomena that might be interesting to read beforehand.
