There are 8 groups of cards in each colour band.
In the Red band, the lowest value for a total band is 8 (based on a value of 1 point for each solve = 4, and the same total again for a completed set) and the highest is 64.
64 + 8 = 72
56 + 16 = 72
48 + 24 = 72
40 + 32 = 72
72 + 72 + 72 + 72 = 288
Hence the total for reds is not >/ 950, so it is not done like that.
