[Trailhead?]The Princess awoke (a.k.a. ILB2 Rip) Hi everybody,
I had a conversation with Ladybee360 some minutes ago and she wanted me to tell you about her. Here is the conversation:

I have been asleep for so long!
SailorTom32
and now you woke up?
ladybee360
Yes, there is a new dawn coming. Over new Vistas.
Can I mail you? It's been so long since I've put these words to use!
SailorTom32
hmm. i'm not sure, because i don't know much about you yet. what is your name by the way?
ladybee360
I am the Princess. I mailed you. I hope it worked.
SailorTom32
okay, i check.
what address did you use? i did not recieve an email?
ladybee360
Via hotmail, of course...I apologize if it didn't go through! I'm very tired.
SailorTom32
so what has happened, that you have slept that long? for how long did you sleep by the way?
ladybee360
It all ended! Do you remember Dana?
SailorTom32
hmm. i've heard of that name, but i can't quite remember right now.
ladybee360
The apiary! She went off to China, remember?
Or do you not love bees? I'll leave you if that is the case. I'm sorry! I wanted to use my words.
SailorTom32
well maybe some friends of my know more about dana, so i am going to ask them, okay? can i help you with anything so far?
ladybee360
Not right now...but in 1728 hours it will be a different story.
SailorTom32
so i have to wait 1728 hours until i know?
ladybee360
Please understand: pieces of the Ark have entered this realm
SailorTom32
what kind of ark is that?
ladybee360
Danger! I must sleep again. The Arbiter. Kamal! There's another war brewing. Over the Vista. It's hidden.
Please tell. My words are running short. Tired. Hidden. Clandestine.
I know, it is not a pot of honey, but it's an email:

If I calculated that correctly, the countdown ends on April 28th. Am I correct?

Spoofing occurs all the time. Look at what happened during the Lost Webtrail fiasco. Why the Sleeping Princess would be using AIM all of a sudden is beyond me.
What I also don't get is people trying to launch a second ILB when they know it's going to be seriously scrutinized. Do players really want a second ILB so much that they'll play a GAIM or some other watered down game that doesn't have any of the elements that made ILB such a huge success the last time, except for the vague Halo elements?

72 days takes us to 28th, so I'd agree.

Actually, I'm pretty sure this isn't the first time we've seen this game: to me it looks like it could be try number two at Lenny's Xanga, the game that almost played just before Syn (one game that DID use AIM quite effectively).
of course, this doesn't change the fact that having the *SP* using AIM all of a sudden isn't likely to be not very well recieved.

looks a lot like a spoof email to me Which is really not good form. *sighs*

Let's see, why would Durga be talking in crappily cryptic semi-sentences? Oh, wait, that's right, she wouldn't .

You know what.. Falsifying ILB returns is the jerkiest thing one can do in ARGS.
Whoever is posing as Ladybee360 is a jerk.
Let ILB rest in piece unless Bungie and 42 choose to revive it.

ILB was way way fun.
Any possibility this is just an attempt at silliness and they're hoping for laughs of recognition rather than derision? Yes of course it can't be the SP (who no longer exists) etc etc, but it could be all in good fun.
Nobody said you had to play, either. If it's a poor effort, the word "ignore" comes to mind.

No, no laughing.
Yes, in my opinion, ILB was pretty much the coolest thing since sliced bread. Possibly cooler, as I'm not actually much of a sandwich person. I can give you technical reasons why it was so cool (the stellar quality of the writing (by at least two award-winning authors), the acting by the amazing Miss Rutherford, the community that formed around it, and so on) but basically I think to really understand why listening to Melissa's farewell still makes me cry like a little girl, you had to be there. Sorry you missed out, but that's not to say that there won't be others that are just as good!

It has been so long since I\'ve used these words, but I speak again! Isn\'t it wonderful?
Pieces of the Ark have entered this realm. Kamal knows not. I will tell you the story of a man.
The dawn comes, over new Vistas! It lies hidden.
The network will collapse in 1728 hours. Tell your friends. Perhaps you will find it. Clandestine .

Wouldn't it be funny that if/when ILB does return, players dismiss it as yet another bad attempt at a sequel? Just a thought.
