We're very jealous of whoever gets to give names to collections of animals. What a great job. Hats off to the person who decided to name a group of gnus as an 'implausibility'.
There are twelve more below. Can you hook up the animals with their correct collective nouns?
LOCUSTS........................PARLIAMENT
LIONS.....................................TOWER
MONKEYS.............................CULTURE
RATTLESNAKES......................MURDER
LIZARDS..................................PRIDE
JELLYFISH..............................PLAGUE
CROWS.................................RHUMBA
ANTS.....................................LOUNGE
OWLS......................................TROOP
RAVENS..................................SMACK
GIRAFFES.......................UNKINDNESS
BACTERIA.............................COLONY

after some swift googling i got,

a troop of monkeys
a rhumba of rattlesnakes
a lounge of lizards (i love that one!)
a smack of jellyfish
a murder of crows (i'm proud to admit i learned that one from lemony snicket :) )
a colony of ants
an unkindness of ravens
a tower of giraffes (hilarious mental images)
a culture of bacteria


that card is fun! i agree with anna, that job rocks

 		I don't know what the proper name for a group of platypi is, but my friends and I have all come to the agreement that it at least OUGHT to be a "mistake."
