okay, this is my first stab at one of these ARG things, so i'm not quite sure what to look for. but here's a few things i found just lookin' around:
In the soure of the splinterworld site you see this

Don't steal it. Don't 'borrow' it. Don't rip it.
But most importantly, don't think I won't find out if you do.
the_splinterbitch
her name also shows up on one of the cached splinternails sites, along with her email (the_splinterbitchSPLAT splinterworld.com) and the email of random martin (random_martinSPLAT splinterworld.com).
note sure who you guys have already emailed, but there are those two addresses for ya. hope this helps.

well decompileing the flash seems a lil too brute for my likes
(although i did do it in my younger arg days so i cant call the kettle anything)
2 reasons the old spilnter page is related
1. the qu13e site link was posted on sites from japan the old site was about just that
2. there are many refrences to splinternails being dead or not being dead on both sites
but thats just my 2 cents ^_^

Ok people, just saw that the " flaspart" of the site is down.
And there is a new pic up. There might be something new somewhere. Also the image has something written on it in mirror image.
Cannot work on it now, but I will later today.
EDIT I added a mirrored image so everyone can read it.

I've enhanced the pic a bit. There's a drawing behind the text and the words "Help me." very faint in the bottom left corner.

Here's a transcription of the flipped poetry.
Someone peeked. Someone pried. Dishonoured thieves. Spilled insides.
What happens when all the time you've killed comes back to haunt you
I'm not dead yet. just out of breath.
Oh, I'm such a nice person when no one's around.
REBIRTH. TEHNTH MOVIE.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Personally, I would imagine this means he is launching the 'rebirth' of his site on the 'tenth' with a 'movie'.

Here's the email response I got from the big Q

Pay attention to seemingly senseless babble, sometimes truth hides there.
REBIRTH TENTH MOVIE
So are we camping on the site on the 10th for the movie or can we figure out a specific time?
I'm sure everyone has already noticed this, but there's a little white dot on the page that's hyperlinked. It doesn't do anything for me except clear the text out from whatever picture is up.

Q U 13 E E-mail I received this e-mail from Q U 13 E(qu13eSPLAT qu13e.com) after I sent a message welcoming whoever Splinternails is back:
Welcome back from ever always while I'm away...
I'm not sure if this is meant to be useful or just criptic.

"REBIRTH TENTH MOVIE" anagrams very nicely to NOVEMBER THIRTIETH (along with a many many other odd phrases).
Doesn't make much more sense to me along with anything else so far...

I emailed splinterbitch just now. Here's what I sent:
Quote:
Heard her boast beast a roast beef eater. Daughter could spin span spick and spun the lowest form of staw into golden lion and lyonesse under the sea, dungeonesse under the castle for bad mad sad adders and takers away. NeVer marry a kingsize, well beloved. Sees a little backjack thingalingo with a long long tale awinding. May day, she cried, may pole asked me to help her. So I spin the sheaves shoves shivers into golden guild and geld and if she can't guessinggame and safety match my name then I'll take her no mistake no mister no missed her no mist no miss no me no. Is it John Jack the ladder in your stocking is it Joke? Is it Alexander Sandro Andrew Dersteignton? No 't ain't, says I, no tainted meat me after the show me what you've got. Then pointing her finger says Tom tit tot! Out of her purple lippety loppety, out of her mouthtrap, out came my secreted garden flower of my youth and beauty and the beast is six six six o'clock in the morning becomes electric stormy petrol bomb. Revengance is gold mine sweet. Fe fi fo fumbledown cottage pie crust my heart and hope to die. My mother she killed me and put me in pies for sale away and home and awayday. Peck out her eyes have it. I'll give you three wishy washy. An open grave must be fed up you go like dust in the sunlight of heart. Gobble google says the turkey turnkey key to my heart. Ready or not hear we come quick or dead of night sleep sleep tight.
I didn't write all of it, but the code in it is fun to find. My favorite anagram so far is "BE THIEVE HINT MR ROT"

That text sounds like Rumplestiltsken if it was written by Joyce. But the clues are there, spinning straw into gold and having to guess the character's name.

noticed this entry while looking around the cached splinterworld site:

Mr. ReQuBE.
To flee, to hide, attempt escape...is running into the arms of monsters waiting. He replaced the shadows with his curtains drawn, believing the disguise would fool the beasties. His deceipt only heard them snicker, and now have grown impatient with the hunger.
In the end, the end's the same...a lesson the boi ought know by now.
"Sometimes wicked our mistress moon, when she hides her face from view. As the magpies cackle their grumly glee; her reflexion smeared by a jealous sea, is as best the devils can agree while toasting maudling tunes."
Searching for a deep to dwell..?
Welcome...or not...back to splinterworld.
replace the B with a 13 -> Mr. ReQu13E
coincidence? who knows

just noticed this further down the page:

splinternails has returned, my insatiable ones - back from the shadows and the dead in betwixts. Miss reading me? We've certainly been miss-reading you. Now let's all nevermind the what they've said, we're here to respin tangled webs.
Clockstop the Whys: Old fool - makes more senseless than we do. He tells a good tale from time to time, when he can tell the time. Whatever he babbles about us is simply hearesy...but we've silenced him for the duration, haven't we?
random martin: Their mr. moonlight and our voices head, sold his soul to the devil of them all. One of our favourite haunts, so to speak.
the splinterbitch: WHIPCRACK! Back to the pixels and code and plight, or they'll be no bones for you tonight.
the keeper of things: One of our longest ever faithfuls, knows where to remember forgets. Doesn't say much, but only because his tongue's gone missing.
the soulcellar: Caveat emptor, mercabilis emptor.
OSkar: Sometimes they come back. Sometimes they come back to get you. Sometimes they come back to get you back.
so i think it's safe to say that qu13e.com and splinterworld.com are definitely related.

But that's okay, this cat's been dead is dead again - no other way.
You let the cat out of the bag, you let the cat out of the bag.
Now the cat is gone, and there's hell to pay..."
I don't know what this is all about but i'm interested.
