 		I was just coming here to ask the same thing - who the heck are those people?

Pretty coincidental that Samantha's car ended up disabled on that particular morning. I'm betting the other cars were added in to make it look like she wasn't targeted.

 		Curious also that Jane wanted to be "in the loop" on Fred.
Besides Sam, she's the only other one who knew about the meet. And why is she pulling Sam off of the DoF story so readily?

Also, I noticed that Fred and the two new mystery characters all have the same email domain name (freenetmail). It's sounds pretty generic, but it could mean something later.
