I was just looking at all the card sets and quarters and how they all fit together tonight, so I put together this spreadsheet with all the cards we've managed to get a look at so far with what set they're from and what quarter they are. It is obvious that the sets follow a clear pattern which is repeated for each colour.

At this stage we know what half of the sets are, and so we already know what half of the cards will be.

Personally I am wondering how many of the cards will be relevent to the game, and how many will be arbitrary puzzles? They can't all be big news after all.

Also, which do you think will have more impact on the game (ie. new web locations etc) the commons, or the rares? I'd say the commons, for info they need to get out right away, because there's no way to know when someome will get a rare card. So they are more likely to be useless if entertaining puzzles.

Perhaps not "useless" puzzles, but since they have stated that the cards also will provide an insight into PPC and it's daily life - perhaps the rare ones will also contain new websites/interaction-thingees/other cool stuff that isn't time-constrained but can be given out at any moment. And the common ones contain clues/pronto-info and so forth...

And I seem to recall one of Them saying that an insight into the daily life of PPC will be needed/useful in order to retrieve the cube.

Has anyone worked out the significance of the different colours yet?

It seemed obvious that there would be a different colour for each puzzle setter, but that doesn't worl with the ones we've got so far.

Colours indicate both rarity and difficulty of the cards. Red being easiest, then going up the spectrum to purple, and finishing with black and silver.
This was taken from the back of some of the 333 cards and the hardest card we've seen so far has been black 'The keeper of secrets' which required us to translate ancient egyptian.

oh, and all of this is in the wiki.
