Wow, so in the end, hmrpita is on Melissa's trusted crew list, and weephun is listed among the Sleeping Princess's friends. Very Happy Cool

I concur, it is very cool. weephun, that's some cold magic juice we have here, isn't it? (I got that phrase from The Adam.)

Oh, and as for hmrpita, I forgot to mention... when I was telling SP about my favorite memory (Perdita's Story and how we led her out of the trap) she talked about how hrmpita was SUCH a good friend and led her out of her trap. So... hrmpita may be "trusted crew" but she is also "Friend of SP"

celina63, thank you. The post of your conversation with the SP is great. Isn't she fun to talk to?
Ross clan? Spem successus alit!

Seriously, prior to my retelling... WHO knew what/who Castor and Pollux are?

Actually, almost everyone I know. Razz

Ditto.

But then, I'm very smart... The Sleeping Princess said so. Very Happy

How cold-hearted can you get, man? If I were privy to a conversation in which my favorite six-year-old girl was brutally murdered, I doubt I'd let out a "chuckle"... Razz Seriously, though. That was just kind of mean. :-/

How cool! So many people know about my kitties! HAHA

How does everyone else know about Castor and Pollux (demi-gods, not kitties)? I'll tell you *my* references:

1.) Robert Heinlien/"The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress" - two twins named Cas and Pol (short for Castor and Pollux)

2.) "The Sword and the Stone" - Merlin says "May Castor and Pollux blow me to Bermuda!" (and he is subsequently whisked away... only to return several chapters later, tanned and wearing Bermuda Shorts Very Happy)

3.) Last but not Least, my Latin class in HS taught us all about the Greek and Roman gods

I learned about them in...fifth? grade...something like that...when everyone in class had to study a constellation. I wound up with Orion, and to this day I carry a deep fondness for that constellation. However, I also remember Gemini very well...the constellation with stars named Castor and Pollux...because it was studied by a classmate named Jodi Castor. Coincidence sticks with you.
